Chapter 29 - Unspoken Truths

Scene — At Ali's House

Wali stopped the car in front of Ali's house. He parked and walked toward the main door, where Ali was already standing, waiting for him.

Ali looked at Wali, his face lighting up with a smile. He hugged his friend tightly.

Ali: "I missed you a lot."

Wali hugged him back.

Wali (teasing): "I missed you too, my wifey."

Ali pushed him. "Shut up, you idiot."

Wali fell to the floor, and both of them started laughing.

Ali: "Now get up. I have a big surprise for you."

Wali smirked. "Sure."

They both went inside.

Ali walked straight to the kitchen.

Ali: "So, what do you want? Coffee or something else?"

Wali: "A cup of coffee. I already missed it so much."

Ali made a cute face. "Aww… so cute."

Wali smiled. "Don't do that. You look like the most cringe person in the world."

Ali: "Haha… very funny."

Wali's expression turned serious.

Wali: "So, what did you want to tell me?"

Ali smirked, handed him the cup of coffee, and said,

Ali: "Take this… and follow me."

Wali nodded and followed him.

Ali went straight to his room and opened his laptop.

Wali looked at him with a confused expression.

Wali: "What are you doing?"

Ali pulled a chair.

Ali: "Sit here… and see for yourself."

Wali sat beside him. Ali turned the laptop toward Wali and opened a file.

Wali's smile slowly disappeared as he looked at the screen.

Wali (serious): "Where did you get this?"

Ali leaned back.

Ali: "It wasn't easy… but this is exactly what we were looking for."

Wali clenched his jaw.

Wali: "So… it means the truth was hidden all these years."

Ali nodded.

Ali: "And now… we're going to bring it out."

Wali: "Well… for now we got one point — Zara's parents' death wasn't an accident. It was actually a planned murder. Someone wanted to kill them."

Ali: "You're right."

Ali paused for a moment, thinking.

Ali: "But I can't understand one thing… if someone wanted to kill Zara's parents, then why did they use Zayan?"

Wali's eyes darkened.

Wali: "Don't worry… I'll get the answer to that question as well."

Ali looked at him carefully.

Ali: "You're planning something, aren't you?"

Wali gave a faint smile.

Wali: "This time… I'm not going to lose anything. Not my brother… not the truth… and not her."

Ali looked at him carefully.

Ali: "You're planning something, aren't you?"

Wali stood up.

Wali: "I'm the one who broke Zara and Zayan… now I'll be the one to bring them back together."

His eyes grew darker.

Wali: "My brother suffered a lot… now it's their turn to face the truth."

Ali raised his eyebrow.

Ali: "So… Wali dark mode on?"

Wali smiled slightly.

Wali: "You can say that."

Both of them smiled and continued enjoying their coffee, but the air between them was now filled with silent determination.

Scene — Shah House

Servant: "Good afternoon, sir. How are you?"

Faisal nodded weakly.

Zayan held his father's hand and carefully guided him inside the house.

Zayan (to servant): "Kindly get Dad's stuff from the car."

Servant: "Yes, sir."

Zayan opened his father's room.

Faisal Shah slowly sat on the bed.

Zayan: "Dad, do you want something?"

Faisal: "Not yet."

Zayan: "Alright… don't worry. You'll be fine soon."

Faisal smiled faintly and nodded.

Zayan: "Take some rest. If you need anything, just call me."

Faisal: "Sure."

Zayan left the room quietly.

His phone rang. He picked up the call.

Zayan: "Yes, Mr. Leo."

Leo: "Sir, I checked all the details of Dr. Jack. He is one of the best surgeon doctors. Right now, he is in Skyline Vale City Hospital."

Zayan's expression became serious.

Zayan: "Okay. Kindly make all the arrangements. We'll go to Skyline Vale City tomorrow."

Leo: "Okay, sir."

Zayan ended the call, looking determined.

Scene — Friends' Meetup (Café)

Zoya stood outside the café, looking around.

Zoya: "Where is she?"

A voice came from behind.

Aliza: "Zee!"

Zoya turned, and both hugged each other warmly.

Zoya: "Finally… after such a long time."

Aliza: "Yeah, I missed you a lot. Let's go inside."

They went inside and sat at a table.

A waiter handed them the menu.

Aliza: "Actually, we're waiting for our friends. We'll order when they arrive."

Waiter: "Sure, ma'am."

Zoya narrowed her eyebrows.

Zoya: "Friends?"

A voice came from behind them.

Voice: "Yeah… she's talking about us."

They turned — it was Wali and Ali.

Zoya: "Ali!"

Aliza: "Hi, Ali… Wali."

Ali: "Hello, how are you?"

Wali: "Hi."

Aliza: "I'm great. Tell me about yourself."

Ali: "I'm good… but what happened to you, Zee? You still look shocked."

Zoya: "Of course! I mean… I can't believe my eyes. First Wali, then Aliza, and now you. I can't believe you all are here with me."

Aliza: "Then believe it, girl. We're all here for you."

Ali: "She's right."

Aliza (to Wali): "By the way, how are you? You disappeared like a ghost — no calls, no messages."

Wali: "Why? Did you miss me?"

Aliza blushed slightly.

Aliza: "O-of course… after all, we had a great time."

Wali: "Hmm."

Zoya: "By the way, Ali, how is Sara?"

Ali: "She's good. Actually, she has a surprise for all of you."

Wali: "Why? Is she getting married?"

Zoya: "Very funny, Wali Shah."

Ali: "Maybe."

Aliza: "Really? Sara getting married? But how? Who?"

Ali: "Easy, easy. She'll tell you herself. But for now, I have an invitation. She invited you all to her hotel. She arranged a big meetup for all of us."

Zoya: "Really? In Skyline Vale City?"

Ali: "Yeah."

Aliza: "I'm so excited!"

Wali: "That's good… but now I'm dying of hunger. Please order something."

Zoya: "Yeah, yeah… otherwise your beloved friend will faint on the floor."

Wali: "Very funny."

Ali: "Okay, I'll order. Excuse me."

Maya turned to the servant.

Maya: "Where is Ava?"

Servant: "Ma'am, she is not at home."

Victor frowned.

Victor: "Where is she?"

Maya: "I have no clue."

Victor (annoyed): "What kind of mother are you? You don't even know where she is?"

Zara (softly): "M-maybe she is with her friends, uncle."

Victor: "I will talk to her later. Anyway, Zara… I want to discuss something with you."

Zara: "Yes?"

Victor: "You've grown up. You're a doctor now. I think… you should get married."

Zara froze.

Zara: "What?"

She stood up abruptly.

Zara: "I'm sorry… but I'm not ready for that."

Without another word, she left the room.

Victor looked at Maya.

Victor: "Talk to her. Convince her."

Maya nodded.

Maya: "Sure."

Scene — Zara's Inner Conflict

Zara walked into her room and shut the door.

Zara (frustrated): "What the hell? What does he think… just because I'm living in their house, he can make decisions about my life?"

She threw herself onto the bed and closed her eyes.

Zara (whispering to herself): "What should I do now…?"

She stared at the ceiling, her mind filled with confusion and pressure.

Suddenly, an old memory hit her mind.

Zayan (smiling): "Zara, look at that gown… it's beautiful."

Zara (teasing): "Mr. Zayan Shah, I think you forgot — we are here for casual dress shopping, not for wedding gowns."

Zayan grabbed her gently by the arm and pulled her closer.

Zayan (softly): "Exactly… I'm very excited to see you in that gown. When you wear it for me… you'll become mine forever."

Zara looked at him, slightly stunned, her heart beating faster.

Present Time

Zara opened her eyes immediately.

Zara (firmly to herself): "Stop thinking about that, Zara… now he is nothing for you. Everything is over."

She turned to the other side, trying to control her emotions, but her eyes slowly filled with tears.

Ava entered the room without knocking.

Ava: "What happened to you? And listen… why is Dad acting like an angry bird downstairs?"

Zara: "I don't know."

Zara pulled the blanket over her face.

Ava: "Hey, I'm talking to you."

Zara didn't respond.

Ava crossed her arms.

Ava: "Okay, fine… go to hell."

She turned as if to leave.

Scene — Shah House

Ali dropped Wali at home.

Wali: "Thanks, buddy… for the lift."

Ali: "It's okay. I'm just fulfilling my responsibility."

Wali: "Responsibility?"

Ali (grinning): "Yes… being a responsible husband."

Wali: "Shut up, you brat."

Ali laughed. Wali stepped out of the car.

Ali: "Oh… someone is blushing."

Wali: "Go to hell."

Ali: "Don't worry, you'll be there with me."

Wali: "Okay, I'm leaving. You go too."

Ali (from inside the car): "Bye-bye, sweetheart."

Wali: "Bye."

Wali walked inside the house.

Wali: "Where is everyone?"

Servant: "Sir is in his room, and Zayan is in the lawn."

Wali: "Okay."

Wali noticed some bags.

Wali: "What's that?"

Servant: "Sir's belongings."

Wali: "Where is he going?"

Servant: "Skyline Vale City… for treatment."

Wali nodded.

Wali: "You can leave."

He walked straight toward the garden.

Zayan was standing alone in the lawn.

Wali: "What do you think? You can make every decision alone?"

Zayan: "What's your problem? Don't you want Dad to get treatment?"

Wali: "I'm not talking about the treatment. I'm talking about your behavior… the way you cut me off from everything."

Zayan: "Oh, now I get it. Your ego is hurt because I didn't take permission from you."

Wali: "Zayan, you're getting me wrong—"

Zayan (coldly): "Am I?"

Wali: "Can't you at least keep things normal in front of Dad?"

Zayan turned, his expression cold.

Zayan: "Being fake is your personality, not mine. And don't act in front of me… I know you."

Zayan started walking back toward the house.

Wali (from behind): "You think you know me… but the truth is, everything I'm doing is for you."

Zayan stopped for a moment.

His jaw tightened, but he didn't turn back.

After a second, he continued walking and went straight to his room.

Wali stood there alone in the garden, frustration and pain visible on his face.
