Chapter 307: Who Is the Fifteenth Member? (Part 1)

In the end, the leaders of Dressrosa and the Tontatta Kingdom formed a deep friendship with the Dawn Pirates.

When they heard that Eric would need the Tontatta clan's agricultural technology in the future, the Tontatta tribe leader, Gancho, promised to help when the time came.

Eric also met Kyros 's daughter, Rebecca. She was still a delicate porcelain doll with soft, baby-like features. Her tiny hands tightly gripped her father's pants. Those days without her mother must have been incredibly painful for her...

The simple banquet concluded, and Eric had finished all the business he needed to attend to in Dressrosa. The following day, after replenishing all necessary supplies on the ship, they were ready to leave the "Fairy Land of Love and Passion."

Baby-5, the woman who would do anything if needed, stayed behind on the Brave Ship and took up a job as a maid.

Due to her personality, Baby-5 was taken advantage of by Miku , who, when no one was paying attention, invited Baby-5 to her room under the guise of needing a massage, with ulterior motives.

Fortunately, Eric noticed early on. If he had opened the door any later, he would have walked in on an embarrassing scene.

Baby-5 was snapped awake by Eric 's slap. "This isn't the Don Quixote family! We don't use our crew as weapons or throw them away like trash! That mindset of 'doing anything when needed,' forget it! You're one of a kind!"

Baby-5, deeply moved, her violet eyes sparkling with tears, loudly declared, "I will serve Eric as his personal maid for life!"

Under the teasing gazes of Kurumi and the others, Eric quickly disappeared in embarrassment.

A year after the World Government had just filled the vacant position of the Seven Warlords, they received another report:

"'Night Demon' Don Quixote Doflamingo was killed in Dressrosa by the Dawn Pirates, and his Don Quixote family was eradicated by Eric and his crew."

What was even worse was that the newspapers reported on Doflamingo's crimes from a year ago, where he used his powers to manipulate King Riku and his army to indiscriminately massacre civilians. Doflamingo's shameless act of usurping a kingdom was also highlighted.

In the soft article that Eric had purposely bought, he criticized the World Government for its inaction, allowing pirates with the title of Seven Warlords to steal the thrones of affiliated nations. The report suggested that the kings of many nations should be cautious. The World Government's higher-ups were left in a panic.

They quickly wired a huge sum of money to Morgans, hoping he would control public opinion and minimize the negative impact of Doflamingo's usurpation of a kingdom. At the same time, they needed to maintain the balance between the Navy Headquarters, the Four Emperors, and the Seven Warlords while continuing to search for a replacement for the newly vacant Seven Warlord position.

Being a Seven Warlord meant being incredibly strong and respected, but two of them had already been killed by Eric in three years. This left many questioning the necessity of the Seven Warlords system, as it seemed to be filled with pirates who were just as dangerous as the Four Emperors.

However, the Five Elder Stars still sighed with relief over Doflamingo's death. After all, Doflamingo had held the secret of the Celestial Dragons, and his death had removed a significant threat.

Today, Fleet Admiral Sengoku had been called to the Five Elder Stars to discuss the next Seven Warlord candidate.

Sengoku rubbed his aching head. The reports from the Dawn Pirates about all their experiences, from their first appearance to their recent exploits, were neatly laid out on the table. Their rapid development and growing strength were evident. Although their crew was small, each member was incredibly powerful.

"They're just like the Roger Pirates," Garp 's voice broke Sengoku's concentration.

"The Roger Pirates?" Sengoku frowned and glanced at Garp . "The Roger Pirates weren't like the Dawn Pirates, stirring up trouble. They were more like the Rocks Pirates, completely lawless."

"Yeah," Garp raised his head, somewhat nostalgic. "It's like a mixture of two pirate crews..."

"If we don't capture them while they're still weak, there will probably be another giant force in the future."

Sengoku replied with frustration, "Then you go after them!"

"No, no," Garp quickly waved his hands. "We couldn't catch them last time in Goa Kingdom. Now, there's no chance."

After Speaking, Garp stood up and grabbed a bag of senbei from Sengoku's desk.

"Wait, Garp , I just bought that..."

"Hahaha, I'll brew some tea and enjoy it slowly!"

"Bang!" The door slammed shut, leaving Sengoku alone, sighing deeply.

"Is that where you are, little lightning demon?!" BIG MOM also received the news, and immediately prepared to head to Dressrosa, enraged.

"Mama," her eldest son, Perospero, quickly advised, "You're about to give birth. You should wait..."

"Huh?" BIG MOM didn't wait for Perospero to finish his sentence and shoved her large face toward him. "Are you saying that I can't kill that little lightning demon right now?!"

"Of course not," Perospero was sweating profusely. "The Dawn Pirates are very cautious. Once they're discovered, they immediately disappear. Even if you go to Dressrosa, you won't find them."

"Ugh..." BIG MOM panted, "My stomach hurts a little..."

"Doctor, doctor!" Perospero immediately called for the obstetrician and hurriedly pushed BIG MOM into the delivery room.

"That damn little lightning demon!" A roar full of rage echoed over Onigashima.

When the news of Doflamingo's death reached Kaido, he furiously smashed the bottle in his hand, the strong smell of alcohol wafting through the air, with large amounts of liquid spilling onto the floor.

"How dare he disrupt my business..." Kaido suddenly remembered and asked, "Did Doflamingo settle the payment for the weapons we sold him last time?!"

Kaido's pirate crew immediately replied, "No, Governor Kaido!"

"Is that so..." A flame burned deep in Kaido's eyes. "Fine, let me see if you really have what it takes to be the King of the Sea."

"Gulp..." Kaido grabbed another bottle of alcohol and took a large swig. Suddenly, he broke down in tears. "How can I destroy this boring world?!"

Before Eric stood the Toy-Toy Fruit, Stone-Stone Fruit, Line-Line Fruit, Snow-Snow Fruit, and Toy-Toy Fruit.

The Snow-Snow Fruit had been reborn from nearby fruits of the same kind, but the Toy-Toy Fruit wasn't so lucky. Eric realized that it had not been reborn in Dressrosa after using a compass to track it down.

There was no way around it. Such an important fruit couldn't fall into anyone else's hands. Eric decided to use the Don Quixote family's assets to buy it directly from the system's shop.

He had originally planned to give the Snow-Snow Fruit to Kuina, but she refused. Her goal was to become the world's greatest swordswoman, and relying on a Devil Fruit to become a peerless fighter would never allow her to reach the peak of swordsmanship.

After hearing Kuina's words, Eric felt a little humiliated...

As for the next crew member to summon, Eric thought for a long time before finally reaching for the fruit.
