The moment the door shut behind her, the phone in her hand buzzed. Stella glanced at the screen and immediately halted in her tracks.

Although she had emerged from the previous night's ordeal completely unharmed after the long hours she had spent back there, she couldn't deny that she had caused everyone who had been with her yesterday to worry themselves sick.
Without wasting another second, she slid her finger across the screen to answer the call.
"Hello, Boss. Are you okay?"
