Chapter 199 - Chapter 198 - Shifting Tides

The Oro Jackson glided across the sea, its massive hull slicing through the waves with steady power. The sky above was clear, almost too peaceful—like the world itself was unaware of the storm about to erupt.

But on deck, no one was at ease.

Hiyori leaned lightly against the railing, her gaze distant, as if searching for something beyond the horizon.

Okiku stood upright beside her, composed as always, though the subtle tension in her shoulders gave her away.

Perona floated midair, swinging her legs lazily, but her usual smug expression was replaced with a faint frown.

Carrot paced back and forth, unable to stand still, while Pedro remained still and grounded, watching everything with quiet intensity.

And near the center—

Lilith crouched beside a Den Den Mushi, tapping it impatiently.

At the front of the deck stood Ada, her long coat swaying with the wind, her eyes fixed forward.

"Lilith," Ada said calmly, without turning.

Lilith perked up instantly. "Yeah, yeah—I know that tone. You want Mihawk, right?"

Ada gave a small nod. "Call him."

Lilith grinned, already dialing. "Vice captain better pick up fast… things are getting spicy."

The Den Den Mushi blinked, its face shifting

Click.

"…You're early," came Dracule Mihawk's calm voice.

Lilith smirked. "Oi, vice captain. Don't act like you weren't expecting this."

Ada stepped forward, her presence immediately taking over.

"Mihawk," she said, her tone steady but firm. "Give me a full status report."

There was a brief pause, the sound of distant waves echoing faintly through the call.

"I've already arrived at Marineford," Mihawk began. "The others are here as well… Doflamingo, Kuma, Hancock. The Marines have gathered everything they can."

He exhaled quietly. "But two are missing."

Ada's eyes narrowed slightly. "Who?"

"Jinbe… and Teach."

A low murmur spread across the deck.

Carrot tilted her head. "Missing? During something this big?"

Pedro crossed his arms. "That's not a coincidence."

Ada remained calm, though her gaze sharpened.

"Jinbe wouldn't agree to this war," she said thoughtfully. "Not with Newgate involved."

She turned slightly, her voice gaining weight.

"Whitebeard protected Fishman Island for years. Jinbe respects that man too much to stand against him."

A brief pause.

"He likely refused… and was imprisoned."

Mihawk hummed in agreement. "That aligns with what I've observed. His absence isn't voluntary."

Okiku lowered her gaze slightly. "To stand by one's principles, even against the Marines…"

Hiyori nodded softly. "That takes courage."

Perona who was floating beside hiyori also nodded. "That's Jinbe for you!"

Ada shifted her focus. "And Teach?"

Mihawk's tone darkened just a fraction.

"There are rumors circulating among the officers. An unidentified Marine vessel… was seen heading toward Impel Down."

Lilith's eyes lit up. "Ohhh, now that's interesting."

Perona groaned. "Why does it feel like everything is getting worse?"

Ada let out a quiet breath, almost amused.

"That man never moves without purpose," she said. "If he's heading to Impel Down… then he's planning something disruptive."

Her lips curved faintly.

"But let him. We don't have to worry about him."

Her voice turned cold. "Bullet can handle him easily."

She turned her gaze forward again.

"Teach thrives in chaos—but so do we."

Pedro gave a low chuckle. "That's true."

Carrot grinned. "Then things are about to get crazy, huh?"

Perona floated closer, muttering, "Ugh… everyone's a monster…"

Okiku glanced at her. "You say that as if you're not among them."

Perona pouted. "I'm delicate, thank you very much."

Mihawk continued, his voice steady and analytical. "The Marines' intentions are unmistakable. This isn't just an execution."

A slight pause.

"They've assembled one hundred thousand soldiers. Fifty warships. Every Vice Admiral. All three Admirals."

"And us."

The weight of those words sank in.

Hiyori's fingers tightened against the railing. "That's… overwhelming."

Lilith let out a low whistle. "That's not a war. That's annihilation."

Perona crossed her arms tighter. "That's not overwhelming—that's insane."

Ada didn't react outwardly, but her voice grew colder. "They intend to make an example."

She stepped forward slightly.

"If Sengoku has confirmed Ace's lineage… then there's no limit to what he'll do."

Mihawk added, "They're preparing to broadcast it live. Across the entire world."

Silence.

Even the wind seemed to quiet.

Pedro spoke first, his voice low. "They want fear to spread."

Okiku nodded. "A message to anyone who would oppose them."

Ada nodded slowly. "It's as expected."

Ada's eyes gleamed sharply. "They want to erase two symbols at once," she said. "The blood of Roger… and one of the Five Emperors of the sea."

She paused briefly, then asked, "How much time do we have?"

"Five hours," Mihawk replied.

Lilith let out a whistle. "That's tighter than I expected."

Carrot bounced slightly. "But still enough, right?"

Ada smiled faintly. "More than enough."

She glanced toward the horizon, where faint outlines of distant islands were beginning to form.

"We're approaching Sabaody."

Her voice remained calm—but carried absolute certainty.

"The fleet is already waiting."

Mihawk was silent for a moment before speaking again.

"…Then I'll hold position."

Ada gave a small nod, even though he couldn't see it.

"Do that."

Her tone softened slightly, though it didn't lose its authority.

"And Mihawk…"

"Yes?"

"Stay sharp."

A faint pause.

"…Always," he replied.

Click.

The Den Den Mushi went still.

Lilith stretched her arms. "Man… things are finally moving."

Perona sighed dramatically. "I liked it better when we weren't walking straight into a war."

Carrot grinned. "But this is exciting!"

Pedro glanced at her. "Stay focused. Excitement can get you killed."

Hiyori turned to Ada. "Are you certain… about all this?"

Ada didn't even pause. "Yes."

There was no hesitation. No doubt.

Just certainty.

A brief silence followed, the kind that pressed against everyone's chest.

Then—

Ada slowly turned her head, her gaze settling on Hiyori.

"Remember our goal, Hiyori."

Her voice was calm… but carried something deeper. Something heavier.

"It's time the world knows what it is."

The words hit the deck like a shockwave.

Hiyori's eyes widened.

Okiku stiffened.

Pedro's expression darkened in realization.

Even Perona stopped floating mid-sway.

"…Wait," Lilith said, blinking as if she wasn't sure she heard correctly.

Then her lips slowly curled into a grin.

"Don't tell me…"

She stepped forward, eyes gleaming with excitement.

"So you're planning to tell the world too? Our real goal? Your true dream?!"

Ada met her gaze without flinching. "Yes."

The air itself felt heavier.

Carrot looked between them, confused but intrigued. "Wait… what does that mean?"

Pedro exhaled slowly, his voice low and steady. "It means… we're no longer staying in the shadows."

Ada stepped forward, her presence immediately dominating the space, her voice calm yet absolute.

"Our current strategy hasn't changed."

She lifted her hand slightly, as if laying out something inevitable—something that had long been decided.

"The World Government stands on three pillars."

Her eyes sharpened, cutting through the tension.

"And we will destroy all three."

Okiku's grip tightened around the hilt of her sword, her voice quiet but firm.

"Marineford… Enies Lobby… and Impel Down…"

Ada nodded once.

"Enies Lobby is already destroyed."

A faint pause followed—just enough for the weight of those words to settle.

"I'll contact Bullet later and get a full report on Impel Down."

Her gaze shifted forward again, toward the distant horizon.

"Which leaves…"

A brief silence.

"Marineford."

The name alone sent a chill through the crew.

Perona swallowed. "…So we're going straight into the center of everything…"

Lilith's grin widened. "Heh… not just the center. The heart."

Ada took another step forward, the wind whipping harder around her.

Her voice dropped—but carried more power than before.

"No more holding back."

Every word was deliberate.

Every word final.

Hiyori felt her breath catch.

Carrot's ears stood upright.

Pedro's eyes sharpened.

Ada's gaze burned with quiet intensity.

"It's time…"

She paused, letting the moment stretch—

"to show the World Government our strength."

Silence.

Then—

A shift.

Not fear.

Not doubt.

Something else.

Excitement. Resolve. War.

Lilith let out a low laugh. "Finally… I was getting bored of playing it safe."

Perona groaned, but her voice lacked its usual bite. "…You call this not suicidal?"

Pedro smirked faintly. "There's a difference."

Okiku stepped forward, her posture straight, unwavering. "Then we will carve our path through Marineford."

Hiyori nodded, her earlier hesitation gone.

"If the world is watching… then we will give them something they can never forget."

Carrot pumped her fist. "Yeah! Let's go all out!"

Lilith let out a low whistle. "Heh… saying it out loud like that makes it sound even crazier."

Perona hugged herself. "That's because it is crazy!"

Ada continued, unfazed. "This war… is the perfect stage."

She looked out toward the horizon, where the faint outline of Sabaody grew clearer.

"The entire world will be watching."

Her voice dropped slightly—but every word carried weight.

"And when they do…"

She turned back to her crew.

"They won't just witness a war."

Her eyes gleamed with something fierce. Something unstoppable.

"They'll witness the beginning of the end."

A chill ran through the group.

Carrot's ears twitched. "The end… of the World Government?"

Pedro didn't answer immediately—but his silence said enough.

Hiyori lowered her gaze briefly, her heart pounding.

"…So this is it," she whispered.

Then she looked back up, her expression firm.

"No more hiding."

Ada nodded once.

"No more hiding."

Lilith laughed under her breath, almost giddy.

"Ahh… this is insane."

She looked at Ada with a wide grin.

"I love it."

Perona groaned, but there was no real resistance in her voice anymore.

"I seriously joined the wrong crew…"

Then she muttered quietly,

"…but I'm not leaving now."

Okiku stepped forward, her voice calm but resolute. "Then we will stand with you."

Pedro followed. "To the very end."

Carrot raised her fist. "Yeah!"

Two Hours Later — In a Stolen Warship

The sea roared louder now.

A massive Marine warship, once pristine and disciplined, had been reduced to controlled chaos.

Torn sails flapped wildly, Marine insignias were scratched and broken, and the deck was filled not with order—but with escaped prisoners.

Some laughed like maniacs.

Others argued.

A few simply stared ahead, still trying to process their sudden freedom.

At the helm, a familiar figure stood—

Monkey D. Luffy, bruised but grinning, his straw hat casting a shadow over his eyes as he pointed forward.

"Faster! We gotta get to Ace!"

Nearby, Buggy was yelling at anyone who would listen. "Hey! Be careful with this ship, you idiots! This is valuable property now—mine!"

"Your timing is terrible as always, Buggy," Crocodile muttered, arms crossed, completely unfazed by the chaos.

At the far end of the deck, away from the noise—

Douglas Bullet stood with his arms folded, his towering presence naturally creating space around him.

Beside him, Emporio Ivankov adjusted his massive head with a dramatic flick.

"Fufufu… what a delightful mess this has become."

Bullet glanced toward the horizon, then spoke in a low, decisive tone.

"I think it's time to call Ada."

Ivankov raised a brow, then smirked.

"Hee-haw… yes, I think you're right. She'll want to hear about this."

Footsteps approached.

Jinbe walked toward them, calm despite everything, holding out a Den Den Mushi.

"You'll need this."

Bullet took it without hesitation.

Ivankov leaned closer, lowering his voice.

"We should keep this call private. Not everyone here can be trusted."

His eyes flicked briefly toward the chaotic crowd of criminals.

Bullet nodded once. "Agreed."

They stepped further aside, into a quieter corner near the ship's stern. The noise faded slightly, replaced by the crashing of waves.

Bullet dialed.

The Den Den Mushi blinked—

Click.

"I was wondering when you'd call, Bullet."

Ada's voice came through immediately—calm, composed… almost expectant.

"I was actually planning to contact you today."

A faint pause.

"But it seems you got ahead of me."

Her tone sharpened slightly. "So… I'm assuming something happened?"

Bullet smirked. "You could say that."

He let out a low chuckle. "We caused a massive breakout in Impel Down."

In the background, distant shouts and laughter echoed as if to prove his point.

"It's crawling with criminals now."

His grin widened.

"The Marines are probably having a panic attack."

Ivankov leaned in with a dramatic flourish.

"Why, if it isn't Ada~! It's been far too long, darlin'!"

Ada laughed softly on the other end.

"So the two of you broke out together…"

There was genuine satisfaction in her voice.

"I'm glad the plan worked in the end."

Ivankov placed a hand on his cheek. "Oh, it worked beautifully."

Ada's tone shifted slightly, more attentive now.

"Is Jinbe there?"

Bullet glanced over his shoulder, spotting the Fish-Man calmly steering the chaos of the ship with quiet authority.

"Yes," he replied. "He's here."

A faint smirk formed on his face.

"The three of us… along with Crocodile…"

He paused, his expression turning mildly amused.

"And some blue, clown-nosed idiot named Buggy."

There was a brief silence on the other end.

"…Buggy?" Ada repeated, clearly caught off guard.

Then—

A small, almost nostalgic exhale. "Huh… so that's where that brat ended up."

Her tone carried faint amusement. "I was actually wondering where he went."

Bullet raised a brow, genuinely surprised.

"You know him?"

Ada let out a quiet chuckle. "Yes."

A short pause.

"Do you remember Roger's cabin boys?"

Bullet's eyes narrowed slightly as the memory surfaced.

"…Yeah."

Ada continued,

"He was one of them."

Ivankov blinked—then leaned closer to the Den Den Mushi in disbelief.

"Wait, WHAT?!"

He placed a hand dramatically on his face.

"That clown was part of the Pirate King's crew?!"

He turned his head, glancing toward Buggy—who was currently yelling at a group of inmates for touching "his treasure."

Ivankov's expression twisted into exaggerated confusion.

"With how weak he is?!"

Bullet let out a low chuckle. "…Hard to believe."

In the distance, Buggy suddenly sneezed.

"Oi! Someone's talking about me, I just know it!"

Back at the call, Ada's voice carried a faint smirk.

"Strength isn't everything."

A brief pause.

"Though in his case… it certainly didn't help."

Ivankov burst into laughter.

"Hee-haw! You're ruthless, darling!"

Bullet shook his head slightly, amused.

"Still… small world."

Ada's tone shifted, becoming more focused.

"Anyway listen carefully. We're heading to Marineford."

A brief pause.

"It's time to regroup."

Bullet nodded, though she couldn't see it.

"Perfect timing."

He glanced toward the front of the ship, where Luffy stood.

"We're heading there too."

A faint smirk formed.

"And… we ran into someone interesting."

Ada's voice sharpened.

"Who?"

Bullet answered simply.

"Your son."

A rare crack in Ada's composure.

"…Luffy?"

There was a brief silence before she continued.

"What was he doing there?"

Ivankov burst into laughter. "Hee-haw! I was just as shocked as you are!"

He leaned closer to the Den Den Mushi.

"That boy stormed Impel Down all on his own to save his brother, Ace!"

Bullet added,

"We got close to Ace… but he was transferred just minutes before we reached him."

Ivankov nodded, his expression softening slightly.

"Now he's completely set on going to Marineford."

He grinned.

"That determination of his is something else."

Ada was quiet for a moment.

Then—

A soft, knowing exhale. "…That sounds like him."

Ivankov laughed loudly. "He gets it from you!"

Ada let out a small laugh in return.

"Unfortunately… that's probably true."

Her voice steadied again.

"Is that everything?"

Bullet nodded.

"For now."

Ada's tone softened—just slightly.

"Then take care, both of you."

A brief pause.

"And…"

She hesitated for the smallest moment.

"Take care of Luffy for me."

There was a faint hint of amusement in her voice.

"He can be… a handful."

Ivankov threw his head back, laughing.

"Hee-haw! Leave it to us!"

Bullet smirked.

"We've got it covered."

Click.

The line went dead.

For a moment, the two stood in silence.

Then Ivankov crossed his arms, grinning.

"Well now… things just got even more interesting."

Bullet looked toward the front of the ship again—

At Luffy.

At the chaos.

At the war waiting ahead.

"…Yeah."

His eyes sharpened.

"They did."

The moment passed, and Bullet exhaled quietly before turning away. Without another word, he and Ivankov walked back toward the center of the deck.

Jinbe was still there, steady as ever despite the madness around him.

Bullet handed the Den Den Mushi back.

"Here."

Jinbe accepted it with a nod. "Thank you."

Before they could say anything else—

"Oi!"

A familiar voice cut in.

Luffy suddenly appeared beside them, tilting his head curiously.

"So what were you guys doing over there?"

Bullet didn't bother hiding it. "We were talking with your mom."

Luffy blinked.

"…Eh?"

He scratched his cheek.

"My mom?"

Ivankov leaned in with a wide grin.

"Yes~! We had to give her a report about what happened in Impel Down."

Luffy nodded slowly.

"I see…"

A pause.

Then—

"Wait—"

He froze.

Bullet added casually,

"Your mom's heading to Marineford too."

Luffy's eyes shot wide open.

"EHHHH?!"

Several nearby prisoners turned at the sudden shout.

Ivankov raised a brow.

"Why are you so shocked?"

He crossed his arms, smirking.

"Knowing your parents, do you really think they'd sit still while one of their sons is about to be executed?"

Bullet let out a quiet chuckle.

"…Looks like you don't know yet, Ivankov."

Ivankov blinked.

"Know what?"

Luffy scratched the back of his head.

"Ah… that."

He said it so casually it almost didn't match the weight of his words.

"Ace and I don't have the same parents."

Ivankov froze.

"We just grew up together," Luffy continued. "While Ada and Dragon are my parents…"

He grinned.

"Ace's dad is Gold Roger."

"…WHAT?!!!"

Ivankov's scream echoed across the ship.

Bullet immediately frowned.

"Keep it down."

Ivankov slapped his hands over his mouth, eyes still bulging.

"You knew?!" he whispered loudly.

Even Luffy turned to Bullet, surprised.

"Wait—you knew too?! How?!"

Bullet shrugged slightly.

"Ace came to one of your mom's territories before."

Luffy blinked.

"Huh?"

"He wanted to meet her again."

"…Again?" Luffy tilted his head.

"I don't remember that."

Bullet glanced at him.

"You really don't, huh…"

He crossed his arms.

"I think Ada mentioned it before. She went to East Blue."

A brief pause.

"During the Goa fire incident."

Luffy's eyes narrowed slightly, trying to recall.

"She saved you from some random pirate," Bullet continued. "That's when she met Ace too."

Luffy went still.

"…Wait…"

Memories began surfacing—

Flames. Smoke. Pain.

And—

A face.

"That pirate…" Luffy muttered.

"Bluejam…"

His eyes widened.

"THAT PIRATE!"

He suddenly looked up, completely stunned.

"The one who saved me…!"

His voice rose in disbelief.

"The beautiful lady in red…"

A pause.

Then—

"THAT WAS MY MOM?!"

Bullet smirked.

"Yes."

Luffy stood frozen, trying to process everything.

Bullet continued calmly,

"After that… she realized Roger still had a legacy."

"Ace."

Luffy looked down, his fists tightening slightly.

"…So you all knew."

Bullet nodded.

"Yes."

Luffy looked up again.

"And me?"

Bullet's gaze didn't waver.

"Your mom's been keeping tabs on both of you."

A brief pause.

"She considers both of you family."

Luffy went quiet.

Bullet added,

"You should remember… Ada was part of Roger's crew too."

Ivankov staggered back dramatically, placing a hand on his forehead.

"This is too much…"

He pointed wildly between them.

"Too many revelations in one day!"

He took a deep breath.

"But to think… the Pirate King had a son…"

His expression shifted, realization dawning.

"That explains everything."

His voice lowered.

"That's why the Marines are so determined to execute Ace-boy…"

Footsteps approached.

Jinbe stood beside them once more, his expression serious.

"…So that's the reason."

He bowed his head slightly.

"My apologies. I could not help but overhear."

Bullet waved it off.

"It's fine."

He glanced at him.

"You're also part of the crew."

Jinbe nodded.

"Don't worry I will carry this knowledge with the weight it deserves."

Luffy remained silent for a moment longer.

Then—

He looked forward.

Toward the horizon.

Luffy then clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles turning white as his thoughts raced.

"Then… Ace can be saved, right?"

He looked at Bullet, eyes filled with urgency.

"Since my mom's an Emperor… that means she's strong, right?"

Bullet didn't answer immediately.

His gaze remained forward, steady… calculating.

"While it's true that your mother is strong…"

He paused, his tone lowering.

"This isn't just about strength."

Luffy's expression shifted slightly.

"It's about timing," Bullet continued. "What if the Marines decide to execute Ace earlier than scheduled?"

A heavy silence followed.

"Then Ada won't make it in time."

Luffy froze.

Ivankov stepped in, his expression turning serious for once.

"Then our objective is clear."

He crossed his arms.

"We delay the execution… and save Ace before it happens."

Jinbe nodded in agreement.

"That is our best course of action."

His voice was calm, but firm.

"We cannot rely solely on reinforcements arriving on time."

Ivankov's grin slowly returned, confidence building.

"And don't forget…"

He gestured dramatically toward the horizon.

"Whitebeard will be there too!"

A spark lit in Luffy's eyes.

"With two Emperors in play," Ivankov continued, "the Marines will have a very hard time maintaining control."

He leaned closer, voice lowering slightly.

"They're preparing for Whitebeard…"

A wide grin spread across his face.

"But they won't be expecting Ada to join the war."

Bullet smirked faintly.

"That alone will disrupt their entire plan."

Jinbe added,

"The element of surprise will be crucial."

Luffy lowered his head slightly, his straw hat casting a shadow over his eyes.

The tension around him… shifted.

Not doubt.

Not fear.

Determination.

He slowly looked up, eyes burning with resolve.

"As long as Ace is alive…"

He clenched his fists again.

"…there's still a chance."

The wind howled across the deck.

The stolen warship surged forward through the sea—

Carrying with it prisoners, revolutionaries, pirates—

All heading toward the same battlefield.

Marineford.

And at the center of it all—

One goal remained.

Save Ace.

———————-

The Oro Jackson surged forward, its massive hull cutting through the restless sea as the winds grew stronger

At the center of the deck, four Den Den Mushi were carefully placed on a reinforced table.

Each one distinct in expression—one stern, one grinning wildly, one calm and composed, and one with an almost arrogant smirk.

Each represented a fleet.

Each represented power.

The crew naturally gathered around, drawn by the weight of the moment.

Even Perona, who usually floated lazily away from anything serious, hovered closer than usual.

Lilith crouched nearby, eyes gleaming with curiosity.

Pedro stood with his arms crossed, silent but attentive.

Hiyori and Okiku stood side by side, composed… yet alert.

Ada stepped forward.

The wind caught her coat, making it billow behind her like a flag of war.

She didn't raise her voice.

She didn't need to.

"So… where are the four of you?"

The Den Den Mushi blinked in unison.

Click.

The first to respond was calm, grounded—like the sea itself.

"We are positioned near Water Seven," Fisher Tiger said, his voice steady and disciplined. "All four fleets have successfully converged at the designated location."

A brief pause.

"We are maintaining formation… and awaiting your arrival."

The second Den Den Mushi let out a faint crackle before speaking, its tone laced with boredom and superiority.

"Waiting," Enel echoed, his voice low and calm. "Don't tell me you're planning to keep us here any longer. Even patience has its limits."

The third voice came smooth—controlled, confident, almost elegant.

"All preparations are complete on our end," Gild Tesoro said. "Supplies, ships, manpower… everything is in place."

A faint chuckle followed.

"All that remains… is your signal."

Then—

A loud, booming laugh erupted from the fourth Den Den Mushi.

"HAHAHAHA!"

The table itself seemed to vibrate slightly.

"We've been itching for this moment!" Loki roared. "Don't tell me you've grown soft at the last second!"

A faint smirk appeared on Ada's lips.

Not amused.

Confident.

"Good."

She stepped closer, her presence alone quieting even the wind around her.

"Then we proceed."

Lilith tilted her head, tapping her chin as she thought.

"So what's the route?"

Her eyes lit up with curiosity.

"Don't tell me we're charging straight into Marineford like idiots."

Ada answered immediately.

"We're using the Tarai Current."

There was a brief pause—

Then Lilith's eyes widened, followed by a wide grin.

"Ohhh… now that's clever."

She stood up, clearly impressed.

"That current links Enies Lobby, Impel Down, and Marineford directly. It's basically a fast lane through the World Government's territory."

She laughed softly.

"And we're just going to ride it straight to their front door."

Ada nodded.

"It will get us there faster than any conventional route."

Her gaze sharpened.

"And more importantly… they won't expect it."

Pedro let out a slow breath.

"…A direct invasion through their own system."

He gave a small nod.

"Bold."

Perona hugged herself, floating slightly higher.

"Bold?! That's insane!"

She groaned.

"We're literally using their own current to attack them—this is how people die!"

No one disagreed.

Ada turned back to the Den Den Mushi.

Her expression changed.

Not just serious—

Final.

"It's time."

A pause.

Long enough for everyone to feel it.

"To let the world know… our true goal."

Silence.

On the other end—

No one spoke immediately.

Even Loki didn't laugh.

"…Captain," Fisher Tiger said slowly, carefully choosing his words. "Are you certain about this decision?"

His tone carried not doubt—

But awareness of the consequences.

"Once revealed… there is no turning back."

Then—

A deep, excited chuckle broke through.

"More ambitious than Rocks…" Loki said, his voice filled with anticipation. "I like it."

Enel's voice followed, sharper now, alive with interest.

"So that's it…"

A faint crackle of electricity.

"No more pretending. No more restraint."

Tesoro's laugh was softer—but no less intense.

"I've been waiting to hear those words, Ada."

A pause.

"It's time the world remembers what true power looks like."

Ada's eyes gleamed.

"Yes."

Her voice was calm—

But absolute.

"This…"

A slight step forward.

"Is where it all begins."

On deck, the crew felt it.

That invisible line—

Being crossed.

Ada continued,

"Hold your positions."

Her tone was commanding now.

"I'll arrive shortly."

A brief pause.

"Then we move together… as one force… toward Marineford."

The responses came immediately—

Fisher Tiger answered first, firm and unwavering. "We'll be ready."

"Don't keep me waiting." Enel, impatient but eager.

"Everything will be flawless." Tesoro, confident as ever.

"HAHAHA! Let's tear the world apart!" Loki, roaring with excitement.

Ada let them settle—

Then added,

"Bullet made contact."

The shift was immediate.

"He reported success."

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

"Impel Down…"

A brief pause.

"Is in chaos."

The reaction on deck was explosive.

"What?!" Carrot gasped, her ears shooting straight up.

"They actually did it?!" Perona's eyes widened in disbelief.

Lilith's grin stretched wider, almost feral.

"Of course they did…"

She let out a low laugh.

"That's exactly what I expected."

Pedro exhaled slowly, his expression turning serious.

"Then two pillars have already fallen…"

Okiku nodded, her voice quiet but heavy.

"Enies Lobby… and now Impel Down…"

Hiyori placed a hand lightly over her chest.

"…Then what remains…"

Ada finished it.

"Marineford."

The word echoed.

Not just across the deck—

But in their minds.

Silence followed.

Deep. Heavy.

"So it really worked…" Hiyori whispered, awe mixing with determination.

Lilith crossed her arms, smirking.

"Heh… now there's no stopping this."

Perona groaned again—but this time, there was no hesitation in her voice.

"We're really doing this…"

Carrot clenched her fists, eyes shining.

"Then let's win!"

Ada turned her gaze forward once more.

The sea ahead churned.

The winds grew stronger.

Everything pointed toward one place.

"Prepare yourselves."

Her voice was calm—

But carried the weight of a world about to change.

"When we arrive…"

A slight pause.

"We don't just fight."

Her eyes burned with quiet, unstoppable resolve.

"We make history."
