On the outskirts of the old-modern city, the sun hung low after a draining day of eternal burning. As snow raged in the upper parts of this region, these lower parts didn't have snow, but they barely felt the heat of high noon.
Walking with crunching footsteps, Abraham and Roy trod their path through the forest, their destination set at the underground bunker.
Clearing out the Antsnakes and Treewalkers was necessary, but it wasn't ultimately their main task. Now, they were returning, not to enter the safe zone, but to man and protect it from the Undead of the Witherflower that were lucky enough to slip past the B-Class Executioner, Sunfire.
Abraham looked through the live recording of other areas his mini-drones captured on his dataPad, but paused to look at Roy.
"You weren't able to directly enter Level 11, right?"
Roy nodded, brows furrowed and deep in thought. "It gave me a key instead, called an Unlock Key, says I'm to open The Gate of Trials with it."
