Brothers' Dap
The underground storehouse beneath the Crimson Demon Village was silent except for the echo of footsteps and the faint humming of ancient magic. Kazuma stood in front of a massive vault door carved with strange runes.
Beside him, Ruko is rap around by tentacles by the stone wall with his arms crossed. And behind them… Sylvia smiled. Her presence filled the room like pressure in the air. "So this is it?" she asked, tilting her head as she looked at the vault. "The famous weapon stored by the Crimson Demons." Kazuma nervously scratched his cheek. "Yeah… probably." Ruko looked at the strange panel beside the door. A small controller-like device was embedded into the wall. Buttons. Levers. And Japanese writing. Kazuma blinked.
"…Wait a second." He leaned closer. "Hey Ruko." "Yeah?" "Can you come over here a sec." "I would love to but 8m stranded with tentacles here." "Fufufu it's futile since I use my tentacles to hold you so you won't run away or do something that'll get me all rile up." "Tsk... don't fuck with me you fucking chimera." " Oh such big words for a scrawny human. I taking a quite interest from you as well...!" "Hah... like hell you are." "So I'll consider letting you go this time... By all means he needs help to open the vault since I'm generous." She unused her tentacles around Ruko in return give her a middle finger and walk to Kazuma. "So what you want to talk about." "This… is Japanese." Kazuma whispered. Ruko raised an eyebrow. "You're kidding." Kazuma rubbed his chin. "Well whoever made this clearly had culture."
Sylvia stepped closer behind them.
Her voice lowered. "So… are you two going to open it?" Kazuma swallowed. "Well, yeah… but first." He slowly turned to her. "You promised something, remember?" Sylvia smiled sweetly. "Oh?" Kazuma pointed at himself. "You said if I helped you get inside this vault… you'd reward me." Ruko facepalmed.
"You're seriously negotiating with a Devil King general." Kazuma ignored him. Sylvia giggled. "What kind of reward do you want?" Kazuma grinned nervously.."…Let's say… something fun." Sylvia leaned forward, trapping him again between her chest like earlier. Kazuma immediately froze. "Yeah I regret nothing."
Ruko stared at him. "… Dude... what have you done to the Kazuma I know... unbelievable." Sylvia laughed softly. "Very well, little human." She stepped back and gestured toward the vault.."Open it.".Kazuma cracked his fingers and looked at the controller. "Alright… let's see." He pressed a few buttons. A loud mechanical rumble echoed through the chamber. The giant vault door slowly slid open. Dust and cold air poured out from inside. A massive weapon stood within the chamber. Metallic. Ancient. Pulsing with dangerous energy. Sylvia's eyes widened with excitement. "The Mage Killer…" Without hesitation Ruko and Kazuma nod there head, she slithered forward and entered the vault. Kazuma suddenly grabbed the door control. "NOW!" The vault door slammed shut. BOOM. Catch Sylvia by surprise. Ruko immediately pulled the heavy locking lever beside the panel.
CLANG. Sealed.
Kazuma exhaled. "…Please tell me that worked." Ruko nodded. "I don't know about this vault... but temporarily." Inside the vault— A monstrous roar shook the walls. The metal door dented outward slightly. Kazuma's face turned pale. "Yeah… temporarily." Ruko grabbed his arm. "Come on." The two of them sprinted out of the underground storehouse. They burst outside into the night air of the Crimson Demon Village. Megumin, Yunyun, Aqua and Darkness were waiting nearby. Kazuma raised both hands. "GOOD NEWS!" Megumin blinked. "You defeated her already?" Kazuma shook his head. "No but we locked her inside the vault!" Aqua clapped. "Oh wow! That actually worked?! Quite smart of you Kazuma." Ruko looked back toward the storehouse door. Something felt wrong. Very wrong. Then—BOOM.
A massive explosion erupted underground. The entire building shook violently. Kazuma slowly turned his head. "…I jinxed it." The ground cracked. The storehouse door blasted open. Smoke poured out. And from within the ruins… Sylvia emerged. Her lower body had changed completely. After merging with the weapon, her body had transformed. A massive white serpentine tail extended behind her. The Mage Killer. Anti-magic power radiated from her body. She looked down at them with a smile. "So that was your plan?"
Kazuma whispered. "…We're dead." With her having fue with 'The Mage Killer' Ruko stepped forward. Sylvia's eyes focused on him. "Oh." Her smile widened. "The one who defeated Beldia…" "And Hans." She pointed at him. "You're the real problem."
Kazuma leaned closer. "Bro… she said the same thing and that sounded personal." Ruko sighed. "Yeah." He looked at Kazuma. "…Take the girls." Kazuma blinked. "What?" "I'll handle this." Kazuma stared at him. "That's a Devil King general but she's stronger than the ones we fought." "Yep." "She has anti-magic." "Yep." "She wants to do very illegal things to us." Ruko nodded. "Definitely." Kazuma sighed. "…You're serious." Ruko nodded again. "Yeah." Kazuma rubbed the back of his head. "…Damn it." He stepped closer. "Then one thing before you go hero mode." He raised his hand. "Brother dap." Ruko smiled. "Brother dap." Their hand clap and collided. A perfect dap. At that exact moment—A flicker appeared in Ruko's vision. Yew Activated

Energy surged through Ruko's body instantly. Kazuma blinked. "…Why do I suddenly feel stronger?" Ruko grinned. "Well Kazuma... it's seems we activated a 'Side effects'. And one more thing... make sure Megumin and yunyun prepare an massive attack otherwise were done for. NOW GO!" Kazuma turned to the girls. "RUN!" They rushed backward while Kazuma followed them. Ruko stepped forward alone. Sylvia watched him with excitement. "You plan to fight me by yourself?" Ruko formed a sword from Core Alloy. Metal reshaped instantly in his hand. "Yeah and I'm gonna cut you down to a fucking sushi." Sylvia laughed. "How brave." Her massive tail slammed against the ground. BOOM. The battle began instantly. Ruko dashed forward at incredible speed. SLASH. His blade struck Sylvia's armored scales.
CLANG. Sparks exploded. No damage. Sylvia laughed. "Too weak!" Her tail whipped forward. Ruko raised his sword—CRACK. The hit landed directly on his ribs. The sound echoed like a Mortal Kombat bone-break animation. Three ribs shattered instantly. Ruko's body folded mid-air before slamming into the ground. Blood spilled from his mouth. Pain shot through his chest. Sylvia giggled. "Oh that was satisfying." Ruko slowly pushed himself up. Breathing heavily. He wiped blood from his mouth.
"…Yeah." He lifted his sword again. "That hurt." His eyes sharpened. "But I'm not done yet." Sylvia's grin widened. "Oh good." She raised her tail again. "Let's continue and itstime to hunt."
