We started walking towards her friend group
"Who is this Ashley?" A girl with brown hair, green eyes and cute glasses asked
"Everyone meet Eva!" Ashley excitidly introduced me
"Hi everyone nice to meet you!" I said in a calm voice
There was 5 people including Ashley
"My name is Yuki!" A girl with pink hairs introduced herself
'My name is Hanna" The girl with brown hair and green eyes introduced herself
"Nice to meet you, I'm Evan" A guy with blue eyes introduced himself
I nodded
"And I'm David" A tall guy with black hair introduced himself
It was pretty awkward for me since I am introvert but they all look extroverted
"No need to be so shy!'' Ashley said wrapping her arms around me and Yuki
''Let's play some games!''David said
We went to the motorcycle racing game and I was against Evan
''Whoever loses has to buy everone boba'' Yuki said
''I actually have somehing to confess to'' I told everyone
"What is it?'' David asked
''Racing is actually my hobbies and I've participated in competitions before'' I admitted
It seemed like no one believed me
''Wait are you THE Eva?'' Evan asked still not sure
''Yep that's me" I replied
''Wait who is she?'' Yuki asked
''Search Eva the racer'' Evan told her
Yuki typed it on her phone and covered her mouth with her hands
Ashley and David turned to look
They were both shocked
''Wait so your the girl who won 7 matches and won over a championship?'' Ashley asked still in shock
To be honest I don't usually tell this to others but I just didn't want them to not know
The game started
I won the game in just 13 seconds and set a new record
''That's crazy!!!'' Evan said almost shouting
''Why are you guys over reacting?'' I asked cause I don't really like people knowing this
''Sorry I've just not seen a celebrity in real life" Ashley said
Everyone nodded in agreement
''Please don't tell anyone else cause I'm not comfortable when people know me"I told them
''Sorry if we made you uncomfortable!'' David apologized
''No worries!'' I said calmly
Then Evan bought us boba and we decided to go to a park
''Sorry if I'm rude but why don't you want others to know?'' Yuki asked
I could tell everyone else wanted to know too
I took a deep breath and started explaining
A few years ago I won my 2nd match and a few days later I noticed someone following me
Once I decided to go out to buy some snacks when I noticed a guy with his face covered following me
I started feeling uneasy so I rushed to go home
And this happened often until I decided to report him
I told the police everything I knew but that night I got pictures sent to my house
They were all my pictures of when I was home and out with my friends
I got so paranoid that I started having panic attacks often
A month later I got send a letter which read
I'm your biggest fan and I mean no harm. Why would you report me?
I rushed to go to the police station but they couldn't find him
This lasted for 6 months till the police found him
I decided to quit racing and everytime someone recognizes me I feel I'm about to have a panic attack
''You've been through a lot" Evan said to me
"I'm so sorry for reacting like that earlier!" Yuki said
Hanna hadn't said a word till now
"Your very brave and don't worry we won't tell anyone!" Hanna told me
I felt relieved and thankful
I exchanged numbers with them and I said bye and I went home
