The stage was set for the title fight between Twilight Killer and Bruiser Bolt. Despite the recent events in the organization, many were still excited to watch this match. Though they had no idea about the savage fight that was about to take place.
Bolt was joined at ringside by his teammates, which consisted of himself, Bruno Bricks, and Ryder Savage. Their group was called The Future. Twilight Killer was of course joined by the rest of the members of the Dark Dynasty.
Bolt started the match with a spear to Killer. Killer stood up and Bolt went for another spear, but was stopped in his tracks by Twilight Killer who then lifted him into the air before dropping him back down headfirst onto his knee.
Twilight Killer followed this up by running the ropes and jumping into a splash onto his opponent. He tried to land the same move again but Bolt got his knees up and stunned Killer.
Bolt took the upper hand and landed a furious barrage of blows on Killer. Twilight Killer didn't stay down long though. He returned with an Alabama slam that put Bolt out on the mat. Twilight Killer then took flight from the top rope with an elbow drop.
"Come on Bruiser! You got this?" Ryder said to encourage his teammate.
Bruiser put his feet up and landed an up kick to Killer as he came down from the top rope. The impact laid Killer out on the canvas.
He then ran the ropes until Killer got back up and as soon as he did he leveled him with a monstrous spear.
"Yeah Bruiser there you go! Nice shot!" Ryder cheered on his teammate.
Bruiser didn't go for the cover but instead decided to pummel Killer while he was on the ground. Twilight Killer managed to make his way to his feet but the barrage of strikes continued and he seemed to be unable to stop the strikes.
"This is starting to look bad for Twilight Killer. Are we seeing the first defeat for the seemingly invincible Dark Dynasty?" Ted asked as the beating continued.
Then, suddenly, one of Bruiser's punches ripped Killer's mask revealing a portion of his face. To many this would seem inconsequential. However, it was anything but.
"This ought to be good. Killer is about to lose it." Black Mask said.
Suddenly as Bruiser was throwing a punch it was caught. By Killer's teeth. He then bit down which tore off all of his fingers on that hand.
"Whoa hey he can't do that?" Ryder protested from ringside.
"He absolutely can. It's only against the rules if he intentionally makes an effort to kill his opponent." Black Mask said.
Killer continued to pummel Bruiser mercilessly. The crowd initially cheered for the momentum swing, but the brutal nature of the fight made the crowd go silent. They watched the brutality with uncomfortable silence until finally the fight officials were able to get the fight to end.
Twilight Killer had to be restrained by Black Mask and removed from the ring. Despite the way the fight ended, Killer was still declared the winner.
Though there was an investigation into the incident in another controversial decision, there was no disciplinary action against Twilight Killer or the Dark Dynasty. Many fans and even fellow competitors saw this incident as the final straw, the Dark Dynasty had to be stopped.
