Parker Defence Solutions – Celestial Forge Chamber
The forge slept but the world could still hear it.
Every machine in the facility had gone silent the moment the blessing descended. The air still shimmered faintly, as if reality itself remembered the hands that had shaped it. In the forge's heart, Dawnbringer floated above the anvil, glowing softly with golden fire that pulsed like a heartbeat.
The resonance wasn't sound it was feeling.
Every person connected to Peter felt it in their own way.
Stark Tower – Tony's Lab
Tony looked up from his workbench as his arc-reactor flickered, not in error but in response. The holograms around him warped briefly into a spiral of radiant white, forming symbols he didn't recognize.
He whispered, "Kid… what did you do this time?"
Pepper stepped in, sensing the energy. "Tony?"
He just shook his head, almost reverently. "He touched something no human should and it touched him back."
Wakanda – Shuri's Lab
Shuri stared at her Vibranium interface as it pulsed in harmony with an alien frequency. The forge's song slipped into the very lattice of Vibranium itself, rewriting its harmonics for a heartbeat.
"Whoever you are, white-boy genius." She murmured, half-amused, half-awed, "you just made the universe hum a different note."
Parker Residence – Later
The night was quiet.
Peter sat on the couch, hands loosely clasped, staring into the flickering light of the television. Gwen curled up beside him, a blanket around her shoulders, head resting on his arm. Uncle Ben sat across from them, the newspaper lowered just enough to reveal a faint smile.
The news anchors spoke of strange energy readings across the planet, scientists baffled, theologians inspired.
Peter muted the sound.
For a long while, none of them spoke.
Then Ben said quietly, "You've done something big again, haven't you?"
Peter exhaled, tired but peaceful. "Maybe too big."
Gwen nudged him with a soft smile. "You literally received a forge made out of creation itself, Pete. I think that qualifies as big."
He chuckled under his breath. "Yeah, well… maybe it's time we slow down."
She blinked. "Slow down?"
"Yeah. No world-saving, no cosmic forges, no rewriting physics for a week. Just… life. Us."
Gwen's voice softened. "Normal sounds nice."
"Normal sounds perfect." He murmured.
They sat in silence, the hum of the refrigerator and the faint city noise grounding them back in the world they'd almost outgrown.
Uncle Ben folded his paper. "Proud of you, son. Just remember—no matter how high you climb, you still have to come home for dinner."
Peter smiled. "Wouldn't miss it."
Celestial Forge – Deep Night
In the dark chamber, the forge's heart pulsed once more—slowly, peacefully.
Dawnbringer rested beside the dormant Archangel of the Web, both bathed in a gentle cosmic glow.
The forge whispered in a language only stars could hear.
Rest, child of the forge. The time for fire will come again. But for now.... breathe, love and live.
And somewhere in his sleep, Peter Parker smiled.
