Walkin:
I knew what was going on.
I wanted to spend time, to continue what Zoe and I had left halfway.
I felt like this time, our relationship was going to be really good.
But then I noticed she was quite restricted.
She was quiet too, probably because she was remembering her fallen relationship, and I did not blame her for it.
Anyone would be upset.
But I still had to try, because I wanted to help her cope with it.
I wanted to bring peace to her heart.
The first three minutes of the car ride were filled with silence before I spoke.
"Going out with me, with someone this handsome, must be pretty special for you," I teased.
This is how we used to talk. We always teased each other.
At least, that's how it was before her marriage.
She looked at me, then raised an eyebrow.
"Not really," she replied, shrugging her shoulders.
"Oh, come on," I said, giving her a cheeky look.
"I know you feel something, at least a little, sitting next to me. I mean, I am this handsome."
