Chapter 223 - Cap.208 - Pakura is speechless.

Jugo returned to his house, where he placed the corpse on a wooden table, put his hand on it, and began to work.

The black liquid oozed from him as it entered Pakura's body, the body quickly reverting to its appearance from when she was alive, even her internal organs regenerating. Afterward, he used the corpse as a means to summon the woman's soul.

It didn't take a moment for Pakura to take a deep breath, waking up startled, her eyes wide as she tried to get her bearings.

What the hell was going on?!

Seeing Jugo beside her, the woman jumped away, two orbs of red flames appearing above her hand, but she didn't attack, especially when she saw Jugo completely indifferent to her.

Pakura had fought in two wars, she could tell if someone was strong just by looking at them. Jugo seemed completely open, but at the same time, she felt she would lose no matter what she did.

Jugo looked into her eyes, then lowered his gaze, looking at her body.

Well, it wasn't that Jugo was a pervert, but the woman was naked from beginning to end, he was just briefly curious, yes, that's it.

Pakura pursed her lips, more in mockery and disgust than shame, if she hadn't felt that Jugo wasn't easy, she would have seized the opportunity to burn him to death.

Jugo finally looked long enough, then looked back at her eyes.

He only had one thing to say, this woman had wide hips, she wouldn't suffer as much when she had children.

The two stared at each other for a moment, when Jugo spoke. - I brought you back from the dead, as you must have already realized.

Pakura narrowed her eyes, but the flames in her hand hadn't yet gone out, but then, before she knew it, a hand gripped her shoulder. Jugo had vanished from his initial position and was now right beside her!

She didn't even see him move.

She wanted to attack, but extreme pressure washed over her, those blue eyes with a supernatural golden gleam seemed incredibly malevolent for a moment. The orbs were immediately scattered as Pakura froze, her body trembling fiercely while her expression shifted to extreme fear!

Jugo just looked at her for a moment before speaking. -Can we talk normally now? Maybe you could put some clothes on, although I really don't mind if you want to stay like this.

Pakura didn't answer, still staring at Jugo with tremendous fear, her body frozen, trembling.

Jugo sighed, turned, and started walking away. -Stay here, I'll get some clothes. Oh, and if you run away, I hope you're prepared to deal with the consequences.

Pakura watched Jugo's figure leave, still trembling, but slowly, very slowly, she regained her sense of her own body.

She fell to the ground with a thud, clutching her arms with her hands, her head bowed. She bit her tongue until it bled, clearly trying to regain consciousness.

She was an elite ninja from Suna! How could she act like a scared Genin?!

She tried to convince herself, but her body wouldn't stop trembling.

Jugo took a long time to return, he took his time, trying to let the woman calm down enough.

He didn't want to let so much of his aura escape, but he didn't want this woman to cause problems either, he had an agreement to make with her after all.

Finally, almost half an hour later, when Pakura finally managed to stand up unsteadily, Jugo finally returned. Pakura still trembled as she looked at him, but she had calmed down enough.

Jugo tossed her a blue flowered kimono adorned with white camellias as he spoke. -Alright, get dressed, I have a proposition for you.

Jugo turned around, sat down in a nearby chair, and closed his eyes, waiting for her to get dressed.

Pakura picked up the clothes, looking at them for a moment, then at Jugo, then back at the clothes, finally sighing and putting them on.

It was a little tight around the breasts, but it worked for now.

Knowing that she was finished, Jugo finally opened his eyes and spoke. - Sit down.

He pointed to the chair next to him.

Pakura pursed her lips, but still walked to the chair, slowly and still trembling, she sat down, from beginning to end she didn't say anything, just looking at him.

-You must have many questions, but I can answer them later. The main one is the reason why I revived you, and let me be clear, it wasn't for free.- Jugo crossed his arms and rested his elbows on his knees as he spoke.

-What do you want?- Pakura finally asked, her voice a little shaky, but she didn't stutter.

-You know, I have a subordinate who has mental health issues.- Jugo looked away from her, leaning back in his chair, looking up as he spoke. -He's very withdrawn, probably due to childhood trauma, he needs... a friend.

A bunch of question marks appeared above Pakura's head.

-What?- She asked with a strange look, thinking she had misheard.

-Friend.- Jugo repeated, of course he couldn't simply say that he wanted her to give birth to some children for Kimimaro, he didn't want Kimimaro and Pakura to have problems in the future because of that, instead, he would invent a different story.

Pakura looked at Jugo with obvious bewilderment, but Jugo ignored her and continued talking.

-He's a bit mentally blocked, however, he doesn't respect people weaker than him, so I needed to find a strong person who could stand by his side to see if he could improve.- Jugo shrugged. -There were many options, but I felt that your story and his could help create connections, so I chose you, and as you can see, I can resurrect people, just like I did with you.

Pakura blinked, blinked again, finding it all absurd.

-You reincarnated me.- She pointed, making Jugo nod. -Just to be friends with a guy with social problems?

Jugo nodded again.

She frowned, like a ninja, she didn't believe any of it, but to be honest, she didn't have a better answer for the current situation, so she would follow that line of reasoning for now.

-Why don't you do it?- She asked, annoyed.

-Because he sees me as someone who needs to be dedicated. I've tried before, but he wouldn't truly open up to me, not in the way I hope.- Jugo shrugged.

Pakura stared at him, all of this was incredibly strange, but currently she didn't seem to have many choices, although that was clearly a lie. She still had to go with the flow, at least until she understood the big picture. At that point, she could decide what to do.
