In a few minutes the entire place had been prepared for Izuku's training. The head Maid and Butler of the house had arrived with food and a large blanket for Yuri's impromptu picnic.
Yuri sat on the blanket with Kagami while Toshinori, Izuku and Tsuyoshi were on the centre of the training grounds explain to him how to unleash One For All.
"I'm so glad you finally brought a friend over," Yuri muttered grinning at Kagami, "I was beginning to think you'd die all alone."
Rolled his eyes at the last statement, "No grandmother, you needless seeds of worry have and will never blossom into reality." Kagami leaned back on his arms, "You can stop with the smothering now."
"Nonsense!" Yuri laughed, "Me and Tsuyoshi will smother you till we are nothing but bones!" Kagami sighed expecting her to say that, yet he gave a small smile accepting it.
They both looked towards the direction of the other three, Tsuyoshi and Toshinori both had their fists in the air dramatically while shouting, "Plus Ultra!" Izuku cheerfully mimicked them with as much enthusiasm and boldness.
Yuri and Kagami rolled their eyes at the scene shaking heads, "Ugh, boys. Always so theatrical." Both commented in unison. Kagami started intensely at Izuku who was receiving instructions, "Why?" Yuri asked sensing something she'd never thought she'd sense from her grandson. Jealousy.
Kagami sighed, "I haven't figured it out completely myself," he leaned forward on his legs and hugged them facing the ground, "I guess I'm jealous of his resolve, he's been pushed down by the world countless times yet always rises above it, but I...I sank down to the world's level."
Yuri could feel a hint of sadness and regret coming from Kagami and gently grasped his hand, "Granny I see so incredibly evil, I feel like the only reason I'm friends with him is because of these feelings."
Yuri massaged his hand and rubbed his back, "Oh, my poor child you should not feel ashamed of your own feelings in fact your feelings of shame over the matter proves you care about him."
Yuri sensed he was still on the fence, contemplating her statement in his mind, "Here's a question since you still aren't sure, Do you wish for him to fail in life?" She questioned lifting his head up.
"I want him to succeed," Kagami whispered softly Turing back to the direction of Izuku.
Yuri clapped her hands together letting go of Kagami, "Well then there you have it! You care for him and that's the most important part of a friendship."
"It's okay to be jealous of the people you care about as long as you don't let that jealousy define you friendship, take me and Tsuyoshi for example; I was born a rich little girl while he was the gardener's son we didn't get along at first, actually were constantly arguing-"
"You two still argue," Kagami have a soft smile, "That we are, there is nothing like a minor squabble between friends, now as I was saying; we were both jealous of each other, I was jealous because he was free to do whatever he wanted, to choose his own path in life while I had my entire life planned out for me against my wishes."
"He on the othwas jealous of my simple life where I had everything, except worries. Neither of us understood each other, but eventually we set our differences aside and became great friends even to this day."
"Thanks-" The two interrupted by Izuku yelling, "Smash!" The top of his lungs while raising a fist straight into the air. What followed was a powerful force of air equal to All Might's punches it caused a large gust of wind to blow across the training grounds.
Kagami acted fast using his red aura to increase the heat around himself and Yuri. This caused most of the air heading their way to go up instead of directly at them. Once the dust settled Tsuyoshi and Toshinori could me see standing a few feet from where they previously were, but they were still standing on both two feet.
"Good job kid! You even got it on your first try!" Tsuyoshi barked loudly while giving a thumbs up. Izuku walked out of the dust cloud gritting his teeth and clutching his right arm that was a deep maroon and was unnaturally bent and twisted.
"Young Midoriya are you okay?!" Toshinori panicked rushing to Izuku, "Ah! Not really!" Izuku struggled to hold in the pain of his injury as Toshinori got closer. "It seems my power was still to much for your body to handle."
Tsuyoshi also got closer crouching down to inspect his arm, curious Tsuyoshi grabbed Izuku's arm, "Ahhhhh!" Izuku cried out in pain. "Looks like you broke all the bones in your arm, this is going to take months to heal."
"Wait, months? But the entrance exams are next week!" Izuku cried fighting through pain in his arm, "We could call Recovery Girl." All Might suggested shivering at the thought of her reaction to this situation.
"And what would we even tell her?" Tsuyoshi also panicked at the idea.
"Ahem!" Kagami appeared right behind two shivering adults, "If I recall I have a healing related ability, good thing I thought ahead of time and copied Izuku's aura before the training started." The two fully grown men sighed relived they would not face the wrath of a very temperamental nurse.
Kagami walked to Izuku and placed his hands in his chest, "Now, Izuku just relax and let me work." Kagami started to inject his own aura into Izuku's body through his heart. The aura travelled along his veins and stretched to every corner of Izuku's body replacing the old aura with new aura.
Kagami closed his eyes focusing on molding the aura into the exact shape that it was in before the injury. As he did Izuku's arm began to slowly restore itself. This process unlike Recovery Girl's was slow requiring Kagami to memorise every part of the aura to the exact way it was any wrong move and Izuku could end up with worse injuries.
Although when he applies it to himself it was always quick taking about one minute at the maximum. He theorised that since it was his own aura he had a much better understanding of it than shaping his aura to be the exact same as the the aura of others.
After twenty-eight minutes the process was almost done. Izuku's arm was almost to its original state all that remained were a few internal muscle tears that were in the process of healing. Kagami was keeping his mind solely on his task however he sensed something, it came from Izuku but did not have a clear origin.
His first instinct was that it was his newly acquired quirk however he found the quirk itself and it had a different aura than the thing he sensed although it did have a connection to what he was looking for.
Kagami dug deep into the quirk and his vision was completely taken over by a strange void where he saw eight orbs of light. One of the orbs he recognised as All Might, I was a yellow colour and unlike the real deal it was faint barely even there as if it were still forming. The other seven he did not recognise at all they were much brighter.
He could hear whispering coming from the orbs but could not make out what they were saying. He reached out to the orbs injecting his aura to see if anything would happen but nothing. He internally sighed and began leaving when he was pulled back by an unknown force. He looked back at the orbs and they were glowing brighter and moving around frantically.
The faint whispering from before was now loud incoherent chatter. The orbs occasionally hit him as if they were playing a game of dodgeball with him as the only target. It did no damage to Kagami physically however he could feel it had an effect on his aura although he did not know what. I didn't seem dangerous more like and inconvenience.
Then suddenly as fast as it arrived it all stopped. Kagami was confused not knowing what exactly happened. He reached out to the orbs again and this time nothing happened. The orbs went back to their whispering as if nothing happened, with that Kagami left.
To his surprise he couldn't an invisible force had trapped him in there. He began to panic having never encountered a situation like this before. I pumped his aura everywhere in the hope that something would happen. The void began to fill up with his aura, multiple colours glowing around him.
He finally turned to the orbs grabbing and shaking them desperately, "Please let me out of here!" Nothing happened. Just as he was about to lose hope he was forcibly grabbed backwards. This sudden force triggered something and he to see flashes of strange people he'd never seen before.
When he came to he was back in the training grounds his grandfather shaking his body, "Hello? Kagami, are you okay!" There was worry in his voice, Yuri was next to him her face contorting in worry.
Kagami grabbed his grandfather's arms and stopped his violent assault on his head, "Grandfather I'm fine you can stop that now." Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Kagami like around to see Izuku and Toshinori both leaning over around him.
I got up an rubbed his head, "Can some explain why exactly happened?" He turned to Tsuyoshi for answers, "Well you were healing Izuku who you suddenly started going crazy you aura was flaring everywhere you were floating off the ground with Izuku firmly attached to your hands. Then you started whispering strange things we couldn't understand and your eyes flashed different colours."
Kagami looked around the training grounds some areas had burns and frost, some plants were overgrown in some areas, and areas appeared to have experienced a bomb going off. He reach out with his aura to sense everything as he did he noticed his aura was much more powerful than before he could sense in a wider area than he originally could.
He could even sense insects from far away, but it was too much information to take so he lowered his senses focusing on his immediate surroundings. He found leftover traces of his aura everywhere. "Grandfather, you said I was floating above the ground yes?"
"At least ten feet from what I could tell," Tsuyoshi responded, "If that's the case then how was I able to do this? For as long as I've known I can only use my aura on something I am physically touching, it doesn't make sense for this to be possible."
Tsuyoshi rubbed the back of his neck, "Quirks are a mystery kid even to their own user." He answered blankly staring at the damage to the training grounds. "But what happened to you, you had us worried!"
"It's complicated..." Kagami began to explain the events he has experienced.
"There was something inside One For All? And you saw my aura as well? This is...weird don't you think?" All Might tried to comprehend the information but it was too surreal, "I don't exactly know what that was but it has something to do with One For All I've analysed quirks with my aura before and none have been like this. It's almost as if it has a consciousness of its own..."
There was silence throughout the training grounds.
