Keifer's eyes burned with rage the moment Kaizer stepped forward. He didn't think, he didn't hesitate. He swung first—his fists pounding Kaizer like all the pain of his mother's death and his brothers' suffering had been bottled up for years.

Kaizer staggered but smirked, pulling a gun. Keifer dove behind a crate, bullets whizzing past. His heart thundered, but his hands found his own gun. He aimed, fingers shaking with anger and grief.

"This is for my mother! For my brothers! For Jay!" he shouted, firing. Kaizer ducked, rolling to the side, but Keifer followed relentlessly, each shot precise, each punch brutal.

Kaizer swung, trying to hit him back, but Keifer was faster, fueled by every wrong Kaizer had ever done. A punch to the jaw, a kick to the ribs, another shot—Kaizer stumbled, blood trickling where a bullet grazed him.

Keifer's chest heaved. He could barely breathe, could barely think through the storm of emotions coursing through him. But he didn't stop. He couldn't stop. Kaizer had hurt too many people he loved.

Finally, a final shot rang out. Kaizer fell to the ground. Silence crashed over Keifer like waves. His fists shook. His gun dropped to his side. He had done it. He had avenged his mother.

Jay ran to him, tears streaming down her face. She hugged him so tight, he felt like she was holding him together. "It's okay… you did it," she whispered. Keifer buried his face in her shoulder, trembling, unable to let go of the grief that had fueled him all these years.

Percy clapped a hand on his shoulder, grinning. "Hero work done, man. Now let's get you patched up and laughing."

The team gathered around, teasing and joking despite the scratches and bruises everyone carried. Even the chaos of the fight couldn't steal this moment. Keifer let out a shaky laugh, finally feeling some freedom, some relief, some peace.

The others laughed and joked as they left the battlefield, their bruises and scratches barely slowing them down. Keifer and Jay stayed behind, the chaos fading into quiet.

the chaos faded. The others had left, laughing, joking, heading toward the celebration. Keifer stayed behind. Only Jay was with him now, her hand brushing against his arm, her eyes wide and worried.

He sank to his knees, chest heaving, the gun still clattering softly to the ground. His fists trembled, and the adrenaline that had fueled him moments ago drained away, leaving raw exhaustion… and grief.

Jay knelt beside him immediately, wrapping her arms around him. "Keifer… it's okay," she whispered. "You did it. You're safe. We're safe."

He buried his face in her shoulder, trembling, his voice breaking. "Jay… I… I did it. I avenged my mom. But… it doesn't feel like victory. It feels… empty without her. Without them."

She tightened her hug, holding him like she could stop the pain from spilling out. "You're not alone," she murmured. "I'm here. Always."

Keifer's hands trembled as he cupped her face, lifting it so he could see her. Tears streaked his cheeks. "Jay… you're the only thing keeping me together. Every time I think of losing you, I… I can't breathe. You're my reason… my anchor."

Her fingers slid through his hair, holding him back from disappearing into his grief. "And I'll always be here. I promise. You don't have to be strong all the time, Keifer. Not with me."

He pressed his forehead to hers, closing his eyes. "Every laugh, every look… every little thing you do… it's burned into me. I'll remember it forever. You're my home, Jay. My heart."

Jay smiled softly, a tear falling onto his shoulder. "And you're mine," she whispered. "Always."

Keifer wrapped his arms tighter around her, holding her like he could shield her from the entire world. "I've waited for this… for you. All the pain, all the battles… it led me here. To you."

She rested her head on his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. "I've waited too… for you to come back to me like this," she murmured, tilting her face up so he could press a soft, lingering kiss to her forehead.

He hugged her closer, letting the world disappear. "Now… maybe we can have a normal life," he whispered. "Just… us."

Jay's hands traced gentle patterns on his back as she let herself relax completely. "Just us," she repeated. "Forever us."

For a long, perfect moment, there was no battle, no chaos, no pain. There was only Keifer and Jay, alive, together, and holding onto each other like the world depended on it.

The tension finally broke. Sec E and the Aces were the first to start cheering. "Let's do a party!" someone shouted. "After all, we're finally free!"

"Yeah! Party time!" another yelled, pumping a fist in the air.

Jay spun around, her hair flying as she laughed. "Of course! Let's goooo!" she screamed, practically bouncing with excitement.

Keifer watched her, a small laugh escaping him. He shook his head, smirking. "Look at you… always dramatic," he murmured, the contrast between his calm, alpha side and her wild energy making him grin even more.

But Jay wasn't done. She grabbed his hand and pulled him along, laughing, jumping, spinning, and yelling like she was the center of the universe. "Come on, Keifer! Don't be so boring, it's celebration time!"

Keifer let himself get pulled in, letting out a genuine laugh. He had always loved this—her fiery, unstoppable energy. "Alright, alright… fine, I'm coming," he said, still holding her hand but letting her lead.

The team gathered around, teasing, cheering, and laughing. Jay was back in her element, dramatic and joyful as ever, and Keifer couldn't help but feel… happy. Really happy.

For the first time in a long time, they were free, together, and alive—and the party wasn't just for the victory. It was for all the moments they'd fought to protect, and the laughter that now filled the air.

Raphael and Angelo were about to protest. "No… we shouldn't—" Raphael started, frowning, his arms crossed.

Angelo shook his head. "Yeah, a party isn't really—"

But then Jayy jumped in, practically vibrating with excitement. "Oh, come on! You know you want to! Cin, Michael, Percy, and I are literally on our feet already. Don't ruin the mood!"

Her grin was infectious, impossible to resist. Raphael's frown softened. Angelo rolled his eyes but let out a small chuckle. "Fine… fine. I guess we can let loose for once," Raphael muttered.

Angelo smirked. "Yeah, but only because Jay's being… Jay."

Jay squealed and grabbed Keifer's hand, tugging him forward. "See? Even the stoics agree! Party time!"

Keifer laughed, letting her pull him along. The team erupted into cheers, teasing, jumping, and laughing. Jay was back in her dramatic, unstoppable element, and even the most serious of them couldn't help smiling.

The night was theirs. Finally. Free. Alive. And together.
