When Josh found Yuze, he was walking the dog on the lawn, and Erya was happily dashing around.
There was a careless smile hanging from his face. Erya seemed a bit annoyed, thinking he ran too slowly and was walking her perfunctorily.
Yuze simply tossed the leash away and let her run off on her own.
Erya ran a couple of steps, noticed something was off, turned her head to see her leash, then snorted and glared at Yuze, picked up the handle of the leash in her mouth, and put it down by Yuze's feet.
She got to run around every day precisely so her owner would keep her company. That was why she came out to play—she was tired of running alone.
