Candy thought about it all night but still couldn't figure out where her brother could be so late at night.
Even when it was time to sleep, she didn't see her brother leave.
As her sister pulled her upstairs, Candy curiously asked:
"Sister, isn't brother leaving?"
Zhou Yaling paused, then couldn't help but chuckle.
"You've been thinking about it all night?"
Candy nodded, saying, "Yeah."
"Hahaha, it's nothing. You'll understand when you grow a bit older."
"Quickly wash up and go to sleep. You know you have to go on a long trip with brother."
Thinking of the trip tomorrow, and since her brother hadn't said what time they were leaving, Candy quickly got ready to wash up and sleep.
In the morning, Candy naturally woke up on her own.
Yawning, she changed clothes like usual, ready to brush her teeth and wash her face.
In a daze, Candy stopped what she was doing.
"Did I forget something?"
