At the dining table, while Qin Feng was accepting dishes offered by his several cheap nephews without refusing any, he asked Qin Yao:
"How come you bought so many things? Must have spent quite a bit of silver, right?"
Intending to reimburse her with silver.
Qin Yao placed a piece of braised fatty meat in his bowl, glaring at him: "Just eat your food, I'm not short on money."
Despite being glared at, Qin Feng still smiled, and refrained from giving her more silver, enjoying the meal with great satisfaction.
On the way earlier, everyone had either been eating in inns or making do with some random food in the wild.
Since parting with Qin Yao a few days ago, Qin Feng had at least one social meal a day, and it had been quite a while since he'd had homemade food, once he stuffed a mouthful of fatty meat in, he couldn't stop.
Qin Yao had specially instructed to bring back some wine, but since Qin Feng kept gorging on food, there was no chance to set it on the table.
