Sean Bell deliberately dangled the bait, yet withdrew the net just as the fish were about to bite, "But there's nothing I can truthfully say about this matter, I promised Thea Lynch I wouldn't speak of it to outsiders."
When he said the word "outsiders", his tone was unintentionally or intentionally emphasized. It was as if he was avenging being blocked at the door by Ian Preston earlier.
That's so Sean Bell.
He's never one to wait for revenge; the saying "a gentleman's revenge is never too late" is nonsense in his eyes. He always seeks revenge on the same day.
Adjusting his glasses, he put on an air of false righteousness: "After all, as you know, Third Brother, my credibility with Thea Lynch has always been low. There have been things I've wanted to say long before, but I simply can't."
One must admit, Sean Bell knows how to annoy people. His remarks elevated himself while successfully igniting Ian Preston's anger.
