To diminish the power of the Celestial Tribulation, one must possess Heavenly Dao Merit.
Heavenly Dao Merit is not something that can be obtained through ordinary acts of kindness and accumulating virtue.
Under the Heavenly Dao, myriad beings exist, and humans are not the only living creatures. If one were to only perform good deeds within the human race, it would ultimately be minor goodness and would naturally lack the possibility of achieving the so-called Heavenly Dao Merit.
Only by benefitting the development of the Heavenly Dao, or maintaining its stability, can one truly obtain Heavenly Dao Merit and protect oneself.
But achieving this is easier said than done.
