Suisui let out a whimper, instinctively wrapping her arms around Quan Jin's neck, burying her face in his chest, and in a soft, sticky voice she called out, "Eat fish~"
"Still thinking about eating fish?" Quan Jin supported Suisui's back with one hand, preventing her from falling backward as she drifted off to sleep.
Suisui didn't respond, her eyelids drooping, as she was once again being summoned back by the sleep bug.
Quan Jin asked, "Are you hungry?"
His voice was unbelievably gentle.
Suisui shook her head, "Not hungry, Suisui isn't hungry."
That afternoon, Suisui had eaten plenty of snacks, as Grandma kept feeding her all sorts of nutritious snacks, not junk food.
After eating those snacks, Suisui had felt quite full and had no appetite for dinner, even less so now that it was bedtime.
Holding the small Suisui in his arms, Quan Jin felt as though he was holding something weightless; with just this gesture, the little girl seemed to grow on his arm.
