Y/N 's pov
I opened my eyes and saw that I was in the hospital. My head was bandaged and there was a sharp pain in my wrist due to the drip pin. I removed it and went outside. Who bought me here? What happened with the guy I shot?
I went to the receptionist struggling to walk straight and asked her
"Was any guy admitted here shot in his both legs? "
She hesitated a little seeing me like that
"No miss. We don't have any such case. Miss you should be in your room. "
Where the hell is he? I need to know that who he was and why did he attack us. Is that kid in a gang or something? I won't be surprised if he was seeing him fight earlier. He is ruthless.
I was still at the receptionist when a voice came behind me
"She is here. ", spoke someone in a dry tone but enough to be heard across the lobby.
I knew who it was but why is he here.
" Keifer? "I turned around to see him pointing at me with his index finger as if telling someone I am here. I looked in his direction and saw Aneglo sprinting towards me. He looked pissed.
" Y/N! What are the hell are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in your bed? "he asked in an angry tone.
Once again they treat me like a kid.
Ugh.
I moved past them but stopped and held Angelo's arm
" We need to talk. " I said looking into his eyes and moved towards my room.
I sat on my bed and waited for Angelo. Something told me he knew the answers to my questions.
And here he was with Kiefer?
Why was Kiefer here with Angelo?
"What do you want to talk about. " Angelo asked me in his voice. Like he is was interrogating me.
"Who were those people? Why the hell did they attack us? " I asked him
"You don't need to know that. ", he replied
Well I expected he won't tell me.
" Okay. Don't tell me. I will find out. I have my ways. " I told him
Upon hearing my response he sighed
"You are stubborn aren't you? Okay. I will tell you. Those guys are my enemies. They wanted to threaten me by using you. They will do it again now that their important member was shot by Keifer. So, from now on you are going to have a bodyguard for your safety. "
It was too much too process at the same time. Last I remember it was me who shot him unless I hit my heard hard and messed up my memories.
I looked towards Keifer and he was on the sofa with his eyes closed but he was invested in the conversation.
"Bodyguard? I ain't having no bodyguard. ", I told him
" You are. Keifer will be your bodyguard. No questions. ", he ordered as he does.
He left the room afterwards.
Why the hell is Keifer my bodyguard?
I looked around and Keifer was still there. This time his eyes were open and he looked at me. He had a slight frown as if he didn't like this role. Well, I don't too. Glad our feelings are mutual.
Kiefer's pov
That Demon Angelo asked me to be her demoness sister's bodyguard. I am Mark Keifer Watson. Watson as a bodyguard? Well I don't have a choice. I need to listen to his orders. Even if it is being a bodyguard or a boyfriend. Boyfriend? What am I thinking? She isn't even my type. I am sure she hasn't even kissed a man. She is too manly.
She shot that man earlier. Ci in called me earlier and told me about everything.
I rushed to the place and saw y/n in a pool of her own blood. And Jason besides her with bullets in his legs. First I thought it was Ci -n eho did it. But ci-n told me that Y/N fought and shot that man. Honestly I couldn't believe it. Does her brother know she is like this? He doesn't.
He assumed it was me who shot Jason and I didn't bother correcting him. Since he had ordered me to take care of him.
So Keifer your new job as a bodyguard... hmph... once I get my inheritance I am going to take my revenge from that Demon.
