"I'm a fool, I'm a fool, I'm a fool!" Jayden cursed while hitting his head against the wall.
"I let my anxiety get the best of me — now look what I've caused."
Jayden immediately rushed back to his room, standing right next to the hole he had created.
"If Grandma were here, she must have picked up my phone and seen the hole but decided to hold back a little.
That's why I found it in the sitting room. She certainly got tired and worried and decided to come after me — now no one knows where she is or who has her.
Damn, if I had just... covered the hole back with my bed or something."
Jayden clenched his fist and shook his head as if trying to wave off the thoughts. "Stop all this blabbering... I need to fix this."
Jayden bent low to return into the tunnel but paused, hitting his temple again. "Man... if I leave like this I'll be making the same mistake."
He rushed to Fina's room and told her what was happening.
