As a member of the Sternritter, Beltz naturally knew how to use Vollständig.
However, he had never used it in the past. This was because the power of Vollständig is strongly correlated with Yhwach. While it's true that without Yhwach, a Quincy cannot awaken their Schrift, the Schrift is ultimately the core soul ability of the individual. Thus, while the Schrift has a connection to Yhwach, it is only a "weak correlation."
The true "strong correlation" lies with Vollständig. If one is subjected to Yhwach's Auswählen, even if they survive by chance and eventually recover their power, they will completely lose their Vollständig.
Based on Beltz's observations, even a rebellious Quincy like Gremmy never used Vollständig in the original series. Liltotto, who could relatively calmly face the Auswählen later on, also did not use it lightly. With the boost from Vollständig and Sklaverei, both his base stats and his Schrift abilities were drastically enhanced. He could now even treat the First Phase: Koudosotsu as a standard state!

Beltz raised his hand, pointing the black blade toward the five massive monsters. "Now, the battle has only just begun."
