"Yeah, everything is moving smoothly. I'm doing great. I've never been better. Can you please stop treating me like I can't handle myself?"
Isadora ended the call, and exhaled silently.
She was still in the process of trying to move on from the difficult conversation she just had, when someone knocked on her door.
She thought if she ignored the knock, whoever it was would get the message, and leave, but another knock followed.
And another, and two more, until she couldn't take it anymore.
Jumping to her feet, she damn near skipped to the door, and opened it.
Elisa didn't waste anytime in pushing past her into the room.
"I'll be quick," she simply said to Isadora behind her shoulder.
Isadora shut the door, and returned back to the bed. "What do you want, Elisa?"
"You don't seem surprised to see me. Why is that?" Elisa smiled patronisingly.
"I have a headache Elisa. Please can you tell me what you want?"
