Chapter 213 - Elemental Superiority

The battlefield had ceased to be a place.

It had become a collision.

Fire, ice, and storm no longer existed as separate forces—they devoured one another, merged, shattered, and were reborn in violent cycles that tore Gaisen's domain apart piece by piece. The sky itself warped under their clash, the crimson above splitting with streaks of white frost and molten light.

At the center of it all—

Three rulers stood.

And only two were thriving.

Gaisen roared.

The sound carried desperation now—not fear, but strain. Its wings beat against the fractured air, summoning torrents of wind that spiraled outward in razor-edged currents. The storm answered its call, gathering above like a collapsing sky, feeding into its power.

It lunged first.

A compressed blast of wind surged forward, not a simple gust—but a concentrated force capable of slicing through mountains. The attack split the battlefield in two, carving a massive trench through molten ground and frozen terrain alike as it surged toward both enemies.

Tikadello reacted instantly.

The frozen titan raised its arm, and the storm stopped.

Not deflected.

Not slowed.

Stopped.

Ice formed mid-air, crystallizing the very wind itself. The compressed current froze into jagged structures, suspended in space before shattering into a million shards that scattered harmlessly across the battlefield.

Before Gaisen could recover—

Albatros moved.

The searing ruler surged forward, its body igniting into a blazing inferno as it tore through the shattered remnants of Gaisen's attack. The heat bent the air around it, turning space into a distorted haze as it closed the distance in an instant.

A wave of fire followed.

Not a simple blast—but a tidal surge of molten destruction that engulfed Gaisen entirely.

The impact detonated across the domain.

Lea shielded her face as the explosion tore through the landscape, the force ripping apart entire floating pillars and sending debris raining down like meteor fragments.

"Gaisen—!"

The dragon burst through the flames.

Barely.

Its scales scorched, its movements slower now—but it still fought.

It had to.

With a violent twist of its body, Gaisen unleashed a spiraling vortex around itself, wind tearing outward in all directions. The flames were pushed back, scattered across the battlefield as the storm reclaimed space.

But it didn't last.

Tikadello stepped forward.

The blizzard intensified instantly, swallowing the heat and choking the wind. Frost spread across the ground in rapid expansion, freezing molten rivers mid-flow and locking shattered debris in place.

Then—

It struck.

A massive wave of ice surged forward, not as a solid structure—but as a living force, shifting and reforming as it advanced. It crashed into Gaisen with overwhelming pressure, freezing sections of its wings and body on contact.

Gaisen roared, thrashing violently as it fought against the encroaching frost. Wind erupted around it again, trying to break free—but the cold was relentless, seeping deeper with every passing second.

And then—

Albatros attacked again.

From the side.

A concentrated beam of searing heat erupted from its arm, piercing through the frozen storm and slamming directly into Gaisen's torso. The impact cracked through its defenses, shattering the ice only to replace it with burning destruction.

The combination was brutal.

Unforgiving.

Ice to bind.

Fire to break.

Gaisen faltered.

Lea's heart pounded.

"They're… coordinating…"

Not consciously.

Not strategically.

But instinctively.

Predators recognizing weakness.

And exploiting it.

Gaisen forced itself upward again, breaking free from the frozen grasp with a violent burst of wind. The sky trembled as it ascended, pulling what remained of its storm together for one final push.

The air screamed.

A massive spiral formed around it—larger than before, denser, sharper. The wind compressed to a level that distorted visibility, turning the dragon into the eye of a destructive force capable of tearing both enemies apart.

It dove.

Straight toward them.

The storm collapsed inward as it descended, focusing all its power into a single devastating strike.

For a moment—

Even Albatros paused.

Even Tikadello shifted.

The attack hit.

A catastrophic explosion erupted across the battlefield as wind, fire, and ice collided in a violent detonation. The domain fractured further, massive sections of land breaking apart and floating upward as gravity itself lost cohesion.

The smoke cleared.

Tikadello stood.

Frozen armor cracked—but intact.

Albatros stood.

Burning brighter than before.

And between them—

Gaisen hovered.

Still.

Exhausted.

Too slow.

Too open.

That was the moment everything changed.

Tikadello moved first.

The blizzard surged inward, no longer spreading—but concentrating. Ice formed rapidly around Gaisen, not as scattered attacks—but as binding chains, locking its wings, its limbs, its movement.

Gaisen roared, wind bursting outward in resistance—but this time, it wasn't enough.

Because Albatros was already moving.

It rose into the sky, its entire body igniting into a blinding inferno. The heat became unbearable, distorting the entire battlefield as it gathered power into a single point.

Its arm extended.

The flames condensed.

Focused.

Sharpened.

Lea's eyes widened.

"No—!"

Tikadello tightened its hold.

The ice constricted, locking Gaisen in place completely.

And then—

Albatros struck.

A concentrated beam of pure searing energy erupted forward, tearing through the battlefield and slamming directly into Gaisen's chest.

The impact—

Was absolute.

The ice shattered outward as the heat pierced through it, driving into Gaisen's core with unstoppable force. The explosion that followed engulfed everything, a fusion of fire and ice that erupted in a catastrophic burst.

The sky broke.

The ground collapsed.

The domain screamed.

When the light faded—

Gaisen fell.

Its massive body dropped from the sky, crashing into the shattered remains of its domain with a force that sent tremors across the entire region.

It didn't rise.

Silence followed.

Heavy.

Final.

Lea stood frozen.

"No…"

Her voice barely a whisper.

"…Gaisen…"

In the distance—

Albatros lowered its arm.

Tikadello stepped forward.

Both rulers turned.

Not toward each other.

But toward the fallen dragon.

Because the battle wasn't over.

Not yet.

The storm faded.

The flames burned lower.

The frost crept forward.

And at the center of it all—

Gaisen lay motionless.
