Under the continuous flow of that vast and majestic life force, the internal balance of the Ice Phoenix was completely broken. On the Douhun Stage, Shui Binger and Xue Wu's figures separated as the light faded. Both of them were as pale as paper and could barely stand. They looked at the Blue Silver Great Buddha as it disappeared and saw Tang Chen descending from the sky. Their eyes were filled with shock and confusion. Their strongest move had been broken so easily by this man.
Shui Binger still didn't understand why she lost. The temperature on the stage had dropped to a terrifying level. With their control over the cold, even a level 60 Spirit Emperor probably couldn't have defeated them so easily. Yet, the man in front of her had done it while looking completely relaxed. Her face was pale because she had used up all her spirit power, and she needed Xue Wu to help her stand.
Tang Chen slowly landed and walked toward the girls of Tianshui Academy.
"Can you tell me how you did it? Even a Spirit Emperor wouldn't dare to face our Martial Soul Fusion Skill head-on," Shui Binger asked with difficulty. She clutched her chest and coughed, her blue eyes filled with confusion.
Tang Chen stopped in front of her. He did not tell her that he had eaten the Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass and the Fierce Flame Apricot Jiao, which made him immune to cold and fire.
"Your ice is very strong," he said calmly. "The low temperature is enough to freeze spirit power. But no matter how cold it is, its essence is still water. And water is the source of life".
He looked at the water stains on the ground. "I didn't use brute force to fight your cold. That would only hurt us both. I used the Blue Silver Emperor's life force to touch and enter your ice".
"When enough life force poured in, your ice could no longer stay solid. It is like bringing warmth to frozen ground in the winter. The ice will melt and turn back into water. All I did was speed up that process".
After explaining, Tang Chen stopped talking. He raised his hand gently, and the Blue Silver Emperor vines holding Shui Yueer and the others suddenly loosened. The vines moved like they were alive, quickly disappearing into the ground.
Immediately after, his black fourth spirit ring lit up. A clear cry echoed through the arena, and a phantom of an Emerald Swan appeared behind him, giving off a rich life aura. The swan flapped its wings, and a soft green light spread out like ripples, covering all the members of the Tianshui team.
As the green light touched them, the girls felt a warm vitality enter their bodies. Their weakness from using too much spirit power went away, their injuries were repaired, and even their tired minds felt better. In just a few seconds, they felt much stronger.
"Your Blue Silver Grass can control, attack, and even heal people?" Shui Binger asked in total shock. "How can one Spirit do three different things at the same time?"
"The Blue Silver Grass is the strongest plant on the continent," Tang Chen smiled faintly. "Its vines are flexible and good at binding people. Developing it that way is natural".
Then he added with a hint of sarcasm, "I wouldn't be like some fools who have a treasure but don't know it. Instead of using its life force, they force poison and control rings onto it. That is just foolish".
His words felt like a thunderclap to Shui Binger. Because of the arena's speakers, everyone in the silent crowd heard him.
Shui Binger immediately thought of Tang San from Shrek Academy, who also used Blue Silver Grass for control and poison but never showed any healing power. After a brief silence, the entire Great Spirit Arena broke into loud discussions.
"Is this the right way to train the Blue Silver Grass?" someone shouted. "It can do everything! It has so much potential!"
"Exactly! Look at Tang San from Shrek!" another spectator yelled. "His grass only binds people and uses poison. Compared to Tang Chen, his grass is like a common weed while this one is a divine tree!"
"I used to think Tang San was good at control, but now I see he took the wrong path!" a man added. "What an idiot! He wasted his talent!"
"It's a complete waste!" someone else cried out. "I heard his teacher, Yu Xiaogang, has invincible theories? Is this what he teaches? He is teaching students how to make their Spirits useless!"
