Chapter 310 - Chapter 310 Phoenix Farodis

Inside the Nathalass vault, a portal silently opened.

Gale and Aeon stepped out of the portal and walked towards the end of the vault. This vault was converted from the former Lich Academy, storing items related to liches and an unrevived soul.

After Farodis was killed, he relived the events of that day every single day, being killed over and over again. His heart was filled with terror, making his soul tremble with fear, and anyone who startled him would scream, "Help!"

Gale walked up to him. Farodis's expression fluctuated slightly, but he continued to perform his actions as if programmed.

His strength allowed him to temporarily transcend Azshara's curse, but it was not enough for him to act autonomously. That brief transcendence from the curse would soon be rectified, and then forgotten completely when a new day arrived.

Mejia had actually prepared the materials to revive Farodis, but because he hadn't decided how to deal with Farodis, he hadn't revived him. According to the discussions among Mejia and others, Farodis should be revived after the Kaldorei Empire flourished, so that this ally would willingly submit to Gale.

The Kaldorei Empire did flourish over a thousand years, but Gale did not return from the Other Space. This matter was postponed again and again, until now.

Now it was good; Gale had found a more suitable way to place Farodis, so Mejia and the others no longer had to agonize over it.

Gale cast a spell on Farodis's soul. Farodis felt threatened and immediately screamed, "Help—!"

Then he suddenly raised his arm, and a Fireball shot towards Gale.

Aeon was startled and tried to stand in front of Gale to protect him.

Gale waved his hand to stop her. He merely looked up, dissolving the Fireball into its most basic elements and dispersing them into the air.

Aeon breathed a sigh of relief, deeply shaken. Although she had heard of Farodis's power, she had not expected him to be so strong. He had been dead for over a thousand years, and the lack of a physical body should have weakened him continuously, yet he could still cast such a powerful spell.

Many Archmages couldn't even learn composite area-of-effect spells like Fireball. Of those who did learn it, more than half had to expend all their magic to cast it. Yet Farodis could instantly cast Fireball; his power was truly unparalleled.

What shocked Aeon even more was Gale's power. Gale could neutralize such a powerful spell without even making a move; his power had probably surpassed Odyn's. This was clearly not something a mortal could do; Gale must have transcended the mundane.

Gale restrained Farodis, brought him into the portal, and returned to the Hall of Valor.

Aeon placed Farodis into the transformation array and initiated the promotion ritual.

After the ritual, Farodis officially became an 영웅 and was freed from the curse.

"Azshara—!"

Farodis roared, his voice filled with anger and unwillingness.

The next second, he realized something was wrong. He was not in Nathalass, but in a resplendent golden palace. In front of him stood a group of large, winged Female Vrykuls, and in the middle of the Female Vrykuls stood a Kaldorei whose body was burning with flames.

"Gale?"

Gale opened his arms, "Welcome back, my brother!"

Farodis and Gale embraced, then Farodis looked around in confusion, "Where is this? Where are the Mages of Nathalass? Why am I here?"

Gale patted his back, "Relax, the war is over."

He told Farodis about the War of the Ancients and the events of the thousand years that followed. Farodis listened in a daze.

"More than a thousand years have passed!"

He looked at Gale with a complex expression. He knew that Gale hadn't revived him immediately because he was afraid of any ulterior motives. But he didn't blame Gale; he understood Gale. If it were him, he might never have revived him.

"What can I do?"

Gale pointed at the Sun Temple above, "I'm going to establish a Sun Guard called the Golden Zodiac, and you will command one of its branches."

Farodis curiously looked at the floating city above. He felt like he had so much to learn.

Gale cast a spell, simulating the twelve zodiac constellations of Azeroth in mid-air, and lit up the Phoenix Constellation. "This will be your emblem from now on, Phoenix Farodis."

Phoenix Constellation?

Farodis seemed to feel a power from it, a power he had never encountered before. This power was like Elune's star power, but much stronger.

"What do I need to do?"

Gale: "The Phoenix Constellation's Sun Guards are mainly composed of Mages. You need to recruit the personnel yourself from among the 영웅."

Farodis nodded and looked at the 영웅 not far away. He frowned, "Why are all the 영웅 from other races? Where are the Kaldorei?"

Aeon: "Although the Kaldorei lost the Well of Eternity, they gained the World Tree and are still long-lived. Not many Kaldorei died in battle. Some of the qualified ones became wisps, and some voluntarily transformed into liches."

"What are those?" Farodis felt his mind couldn't keep up. What are wisps? What are liches?

"Wisps are the Dependents of the demigod Aeon. They can transform Kaldorei souls into wisps, allowing them to live carefree in nature. Liches are undead Mages created by His Majesty, with bodies forged from powerful magical materials, which can enhance the power of Mages. A Mage apprentice can even possess the power of an Archmage."

Farodis turned to look at Gale. It was your doing again.

Gale smiled and spread his hands, "It all happened by chance; I didn't do it on purpose."

"You go choose. I need to design the golden armor for the Golden Zodiac, and also the weapon you will use."

Farodis: "Don't give me a staff… give me a weapon similar to the tide stone."

Gale thought for a moment and nodded. He actually had some ideas.

Kael'thas Sunstrider's weapon was a magic orb, which was very similar to the tide stone, just not as powerful. Gale also had forging abilities that Kael'thas didn't have, plus the Sun God Power, so it was possible to create a magic orb not inferior to the tide stone.

Of course, it was only possible; after all, it was just an idea now, and the specific plan still needed Gale to refine it.

The most important thing now was to forge the golden armor. Gale suddenly thought that if he infused Sun God Power into the golden armor, perhaps the 영웅 could bypass the transformation ritual and directly face the sun.

Gale immediately teleported back to the Sun Temple and began designing the golden armor plan.

For half a month straight, Gale completed four plans, forged them all for experimentation, and then experimented with them one by one, finally arriving at the final plan.
