He entered the cool, silent lobby and headed straight for the elevator.
When he got in, he messaged Laila.
[Laila: Good morning.] One hour ago
[Levi: Good morning. I am currently in the elevator; what floor are you on?] Just now.
[Laila: Wait, just wait. Come to the 3rd floor.]
Levi lifted his heavy eyelids to look at the button, then he selected the third floor. After a while the elevator doors chimed open and he walked out, standing just beside the door.
[Levi: I'm here.]
[Laila: Good. I'll come get you.]
Moments later Laila stepped off the elevator and greeted the tall man standing beside the elevator. "Good morning."
"Good morning." Levi stepped away from the wall and moved closer to Laila only for her to make way for him.
[Laila: I am currently on the third floor. Where are you?] Just now.
Levi paused walking in front of Laila who was pretending not to look at the man who had just made her uncomfortable. 'Oh, that's right.'
