"Hey, are you okay?" Levi asked the alpha who had just stood there watching him, boring a hole in his body.
Almost immediately he got a response from the alpha. "I haven't had dinner. Let's eat out."
Levi blinked, his brow furrowing slightly. "Eat out?" Levi repeated, checking the time on his phone. "Now? I actually ate quite a bit this afternoon." He too was ashamed to have eaten that much. "I was probably just going to have something light later tonight."
He started to turn back toward the elevators, assuming the matter was settled. "You should go, though. You look like you actually need it."
"We should check out that new restaurant," Noah said again. He wasn't suggesting it anymore; he was insisting, and so desperately that the mate bond tugged at Levi's chest. "We haven't really gone out together before."
Levi gave him a deadpan look, completely unimpressed by the alpha's recent behaviour. "Noah. We did that yesterday."
