Several large tents stood beside a campfire. Since the Pope issued the mission, the Golden Generation of the Spirit Hall had arrived in the Star Dou Great Forest. Their purpose was to hunt down a 100,000-year-old spirit beast.
"Nana, are you asleep?" A cold voice rang out. Hu Liena felt a blur before her eyes, and the next moment, a shadow appeared before her—it was Ghost Douluo, Ghost Phantom.
"Grandpa Ghost? What brings you here?" Hu Liena stood up in surprise, puzzled.
Ghost Douluo's face remained indistinct, but his voice was steady. "Nana, tomorrow we will reach the depths of the Star Dou Great Forest. You must not forget His Holiness the Pope's instructions: regardless of success or failure, you must not be injured."
"That 100,000-year-old spirit beast, if you can capture it, do so. If not, leave the Star Dou Great Forest immediately."
"Yes, I understand, Grandpa Ghost." Hu Liena nodded obediently.
"Get some rest. We have to continue our journey tomorrow." With that, Ghost Douluo vanished from Hu Liena's sight.

Before dawn, the dark forest appeared particularly eerie.
The members of the Spirit Hall rose early, prepared their tents and campsites, and set off into the depths of the Star Dou Great Forest as darkness faded.

"Before we go too far, we should leave immediately. Don't forget the true purpose of our mission."
Hearing this, Chrysanthemum Douluo was startled, but quickly believed Ghost Douluo's words and gave the Spirit Hall members the order to retreat.
"Retreat? Elders, we've only just arrived. Leaving now... isn't that..."

Among the creatures were mermen, werewolves, goblins… all sorts of beings emerged from the portal. But what surprised the Spirit Hall members most was that the last one to emerge was a tall werewolf wielding a longsword!
"Is this their king?" Ghost Douluo appeared beside Chrysanthemum Douluo, his expression grave.

Ghost Douluo and Chrysanthemum Douluo didn't even need to look, because a cardinal in their ranks had already cried out in alarm.
"Looks like we're in big trouble," Chrysanthemum Douluo said with a wry smile.
"Then let's fight our way out." Ghost Douluo, ruthless and taciturn, charged forward at the werewolf wielding a longsword, his nine halos gleaming.
"You old ghost, your reaction is incredibly fast." As soon as he finished speaking, Chrysanthemum Douluo flashed with golden light and appeared at the rear of the group. Radiating intense golden light, he used his Vajra Indestructible Technique for the first time.
"Brother, Yan, let's go together too." Seeing this, Hu Liena calmly said.

Standing before them was a gigantic man, well over two meters tall. From the man's animal-hide-like clothing, Bing Di and Xue Di sensed a primal, raw beauty.
No, rather than raw beauty, it was wildness itself, or perhaps, the very essence of a wild beast?
The burly man's size was incredibly eye-catching, and his almost explosively muscular physique made him impossible to look away from. However, the Ice Empress and the Snow Empress didn't feel the same way; they only felt a deep-seated fear, as if the burly man standing before them was a higher-level soul beast.
The Ice Empress's words didn't make the burly man look away; his ferocious, beast-like gaze seemed to be branded onto Cheng Xiao.
