Leilani.
"For how long do you intend to pretend to have fainted?" I asked coldly, ignoring the way my voice echoed through the quiet space like something out of a horror movie.
My eyes snagged on her pale face and then down to her lips which for some reason had begun to turn into a weird shade of purple, and then I rolled my eyes.
"You're pretending to be unconscious? You want to pity your way out of this as if you're not satisfied with everything else that you did?" I sneered.
But still, nothing.
"How did you feel after you killed Jarek? You said that no one else could have him if not you, and you got that. So tell me, how did you feel?" I rushed out, and strangely, the more I talked, the angrier I became; and the fact that she was deciding not to respond made me even angrier.
In annoyance, I marched over to the metal bars separating us, grabbed onto the cold railings and yelled; "open your damn eyes, Keisha!"
She didn't respond. She didn't even move.
