I walk around the town and slowly start relaxing as I looked for a shop store.
I look up at the bright sun and I feel it's ray's.
I can feel my body becoming stronger faster than when I was exposed to the rays of the yellow artificial sunlight.
I felt like flying straight up into the atmosphere and bath in the sun's rays but I decided against that for now.
Because of the public which may somehow end up in military action.
A lot of people were giving me casual stares.
Most likely because of the foreign posh clothes I was wearing.
Eventually, I arrived at a clothes shop.
Entering the shop, I was welcomed by a female attendant in a business attire.
I asked her for a set of clothes suitable for me in English and she immediately showed me a few pairs.
I tried out the clothes in the changing room and they fit me well.
Guess the female attendant is a professional because she sighted out clothes that fit me with only a glance.
I told her I would take them and she told me the price.
It was at that moment that I realized, am broke!!!
Well you cannot blame me on Krypton all I had to do was ask and I would receive as simple as that.
Thinking of how I could pay for the clothes, I got struck by a great idea.
Why don't I just get a dollar and I put it in the replicator?
That way I will never be broke and I won't have to work so hard in that department.
I could not help but laugh at my own bright idea.
But how can I legally get a dollar?
I looked at the female attendant and asked with a small smile
"May I have a dollar please?"
Adding the 'please' so that I could succeed in my current endeavor.
The female shop attendant looked at me curiously then gave me a dollar.
I took the dollar with a 'thank you' and walked back into the changing room not forgetting to close the door.
After closing the door, I used my superspeed powers to slowdown everything in my perspective.
I opened then door and looked at the female attendant.
Seeing that she was not moving or was in slow motion, I walked out of the changing room and once again closed the door.
I then ran all the way back to my ship.
I stopped using my super speed powers and tapped my amulet causing the ship's door to open.
I then flew to the ship's replicator and place the dollar that the female attendant had given me on it.
A blue light then emitted from the replicator on the the dollar which I believe was the replicator scanning the design of the dollar.
An interface screen having a design of the dollar appeared before me.
The interface had options like single copy and multi-copy.
I tapped the multi-copy option and another interface having numbers appeared before me asking me to insert the number of copies I wanted.
The replicator is relatively easy to use.
I inserted 10,000 and immediately after 10,000 copies or dollars appeared separately.
I grabbed 5,000 dollars and flew out of my ship.
I once again tapped my amulet and my ship closed then I landed on the ground and used superspeed to run back to the clothes shop.
I opened the door to the changing room and entered then closed it again.
All this took about 5 minutes to do.
I stopped using my superspeed powers and walked out of the changing room while pretending like I had been looking for my money.
I gave the female shop attendant enough money for the pairs of clothes she had prepared for me then she packed them in a paper bag.
She handed me the paper bag and I asked her about Metropolis the city where Kal-El better yet Superman is most likely to be.
She replied "Oh, are you one of those people who want to meet Superman?"
"I guess you can put it that way." I replied.
She gave me a knowing look and told me the direction to Metropolis.
I walked back to my ship while thinking about what the female shop attendant had said.
From the way she had spoken, looks like Kal-El has been Superman for some time now.
Then something must have happened because technically am supposed to be older than him and am not yet a man.
Midway of walking to my ship I got bored and used my superspeed powers to reach my ship.
I tapped my amulet and my ship opened then I flew in.
The doors to my ship automatically closed after I entered the ship.
I flew to the bridge and took control of the ship's controls.
I followed the female attendant's instructions as I flew my ship to Metropolis.
