Many of the falling shells were blown away, but still more shells broke through and tore apart the rocks on the outer edge of Onigashima.
They plunged deep into the fortress. Pavilions, doors, splendid halls and offices... everything was ignited by flames in the light.
Enraged, Kaido transformed into his complete dragon form and charged at Shiki. Linlin once again rode her cloud, lunging straight for Sakura's face.
King against king, general against general. Following the ancient tradition of the seas, the battle of the four overlords began.
And beneath this fiercely fighting sky, the two lifted sky islands, Onigashima and the Flower Capital, also collided.
After the burst of blazing firelight and violent tremors, the members of the two pirate crews also began their battle.
"Beasts Pirates, charge!"
The first to move was King, flapping his wings. He did not hesitate for a moment, charging straight at the emotionless giant girl sitting on the flying ship.

Gathered around him were the high-ranking officers of the Charlotte Family: Oven, Daifuku, Snack, Amande, Custard... each holding Linlin's vivre card, leading the newly manufactured Ice Oni Homies in an invasion of the Flower Capital's interior.

Mixed in the crowd, the half-beastified, mechanically modified human Queen the Plague spotted the winged tribe soldier carrying Tama away from the battlefield. A glint of desirous light shone in his eyes.
His plump face twisted into a cunning smile. The mechanical arms at his braid, left hand, and tail all spread open. The cannons at their centers began to accumulate light particles.
"Thank you so much. This will add one more racial specimen to my dissection lab! Hahaha!"
"Bastard! What do you think you're doing!"
The boy's forceful words tore through the air like a spear. Ferocious Conqueror's Haki surged from him, sweeping through every one of Queen's perceptions.
The twelve Supreme Grade Blades, Ace, tempered in blood and fire, resonated with the swordsmanship of its former user, swinging a strike capable of tearing apart mountains and cutting the sea.

A wisp of dark thunder and a red glow drifted from the Ace in Ace's hand. The flying slash refined to its extreme pierced through the laser fired by Queen.
"You... how is this possible!"
Queen the scientist widened his eyes, shattering the sunglasses on his face.

So what if you can cut a laser? Swordsmen and fighters are ultimately beings who hone their mortal flesh. Flesh and blood will eventually wear out and tire, but steel and metal can keep running as long as they have energy.

But as he entered these familiar streets, the shipborne cannons scattered throughout the capital's high ground were simultaneously aimed at him. Fierce light spewed from the cannon barrels engraved with rifling.
