Even after they left the Watchtower, Percival lingered around Lucy until she went home. Lucy walked into her room to pick up her headset. She grabbed it, took a step toward the exit, but paused and turned back to the window.
She approached it, swung the curtain open, and saw a blue-haired young man on the other side of the street. He leaned against the wall of another building, arms crossed.
Lucy's eyes slowly widened in surprise. Percival tilted his head toward the window and their eyes met. He smiled, then waved his hand at her.
She couldn't resist smiling and waving back. After unlocking the window, she slid it open. "It's late. You should go home." Her voice echoed in the deserted street. It was already past seven, and this part of Paradise had no event that could keep people awake at night.
This area was purely residential.
He crossed the street, stood right below her window, and looked up. "See you tomorrow then."
