Chapter 85 - Chapter 85

[Chapter Size: 1500 Words.]

---------------------------------------

Harry stared at the clock for a while. Well, Charlie's hands hadn't changed, but Mr. Weasley's hands had moved from "going to work" to "going on a trip."

Harry stopped paying attention to the strange clock and continued looking around the room.

There was also a smaller wall clock between the dining room and the kitchen, which only had one hand. There were no numbers on the clock, instead, it had things like "make tea," "feed the chickens," and "don't be late."

Below the wall clock was a fireplace. Although there was no fire, there was plenty of dust. A low stove was placed beside the fireplace, on top of which lay several books.

Harry looked closer and was surprised to find that there were some notes on how to use magic to perform household chores.

For example, "Magic for your cheese," "The magic of bread-making," "Creating a feast," "How to easily remove stains with magic"...

They were all books about magic, and the content seemed strange. At least, it was very different from what Harry had imagined before. But when he thought about it carefully, it seemed that a wizard's house should be like this.

At that moment, Mrs. Weasley turned on a rather old-looking radio in the corner. Harry was a little surprised. He hadn't expected something like this to exist in a wizard's family. What surprised him even more was that the radio was playing a witch's song.

The reason Harry knew it was a witch's song was because her singing was mixed with many low-level magical spells. In Harry's opinion, the singing skills of this witch were definitely on par with the top female stars.

"It would be wonderful to have a nice song at breakfast, don't you think, Harry?" Mrs. Weasley said with a smile. "Wait a little longer, you can sit here and rest a bit. Breakfast will be ready soon. Oh, by the way, I'm going to wake up Ron and the others."

Mrs. Weasley smiled as she took the wand wrapped in her apron and gently flicked it. Four fist-sized water spheres appeared silently in front of her. The water spheres hovered in the air for a second, then flew out. A moment later, three yells rang out from upstairs.

"Mom! What are you doing?" Two voices spoke in perfect unison. If you weren't paying attention, you'd think it was just one voice. Harry was very familiar with this voice.

"Oh…" At that moment, a long scream followed, with a slight tremor. Well, that voice was even more familiar to Harry.

Mrs. Weasley didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with her behavior. She still wore a gentle smile as she yelled up the stairs:

"George, Fred, and Ron, come down. Harry is here. Seriously, Harry is here, and you're still not up."

At that moment, Harry suddenly understood who the twins had inherited their mischievous personalities from.

After a while, quick footsteps echoed down the stairs. Ron, who was only wearing pajamas and seemed not to have washed his face, rushed downstairs first. When he saw Harry, he immediately came up and gave him a big hug. "Harry! It's been ages! How was your vacation?"

"Everything's fine, but it's really annoying not being able to use magic." Harry looked at Ron, who was laughing and as happy as he was.

"Yeah, I think so too. I haven't been able to use magic for over a month, and I'm about to suffocate." Ron nodded repeatedly, indicating his strong agreement with Harry's opinion.

The two chatted happily for a while, then heard footsteps coming from upstairs again. This time, there were two voices.

Harry didn't need to look to know it was Fred and George coming down. Sure enough, when he looked up, he saw the two of them just descending the stairs, grinning at him.

"Oh, dear Harry, we're so sorry we couldn't receive your message."

"We've made tremendous progress."

"Just a little more, just a little more, and everything will be ready."

"If you have time, come with us and take a look."

The two spoke alternately, one sentence at a time, as they always did, without a pause between them. The tacit understanding between the twins was fully demonstrated at that moment.

Ron looked a little confused when he heard what the twins said. He didn't know what they were talking about. But Harry understood almost instantly. The twins were talking about something they had discussed earlier—turning ordinary mechanical equipment into a production line for magical products.

Apparently, the twins hadn't told the rest of the family, so Ron didn't know.

Harry didn't tell Ron about his plan for now. He wanted to surprise Ron after the product was released. Ron might not have been so interested in other products, but Harry was sure he'd love the magical quill project the twins were working on, which Ron had specifically asked them to make.

After a while, the sound of firm footsteps came from upstairs. Harry could already imagine Percy's serious face just from the sound of his steps.

Unlike the twins, who were casually dressed, and Ron, who was still in pajamas and hadn't even washed his face, Percy was wearing a spotless shirt, and his hair was carefully styled. He looked as formal as an office worker in a business building.

But when he saw Harry, he still smiled brightly. "Harry, welcome, welcome! I'm so happy to see you so full of energy."

"Good morning, Prefect Percy." Harry knew exactly what kind of greeting would make this old man happy. Sure enough, when Percy heard Harry's address, he immediately smiled even more brightly. He walked up to Harry, patted him on the shoulder, and asked how his vacation had been.

But it was obvious that this guy still had more to talk about with an excellent student like Hermione. He only said a few simple words, then sat down to read a book. Harry, Ron, and the twins were whispering in another corner of the living room.

The twins grabbed one of their notebooks, which was filled with densely written notes. Harry glanced at it, and it looked like a drawing of a ghost. At first glance, it was confusing, but after taking a closer look, it was even more puzzling than it had seemed initially.

Ron was clearly seeing the notebook for the first time, and his reaction was even worse than Harry's. After just one glance, his eyes became a little confused, and he was obviously dazed.

The twins, however, pointed to some runes in the notebook and explained them to Harry in a low voice. It took Harry a moment to realize that this was the canary biscuit that was almost ready among the many projects the twins had told him about.

Now that he knew what it was, Harry looked at the runes and vaguely had a clue. After all, he had done quite well in Transfiguration, and some of the runes were similar to the knowledge he had gained in that subject. However, it was clear that the twins were far better than him in this area.

The three of them discussed it for a while in low voices, not wanting Mrs. Weasley to overhear. Harry thought this was a bit unnecessary since it was hard to hear what was being said due to the clinking of the cutlery from Mrs. Weasley's side.

After listening for a while, Ron began to understand what they were studying. After paying close attention, he finally offered his own opinion.

Ron had performed very poorly in Transfiguration during the first half of his first year, but after changing his wand in the second half, his Transfiguration skills improved significantly, and it seemed like he was very talented in the subject.

This talent had shown itself at that time, and many of the things he said made Harry and the twins feel enlightened. Though not very deep, it offered a different perspective.

Harry was having a lively discussion with Ron and the others when he suddenly felt something a little strange. It seemed like someone was watching him from above.

Following his feeling, Harry looked up. A small redhead appeared on the stairs, and when she saw him raise his head, she quickly disappeared. It was so fast that Harry couldn't clearly tell if it was a man or a woman, a person, or another large feline.

After all, the base color of the large feline lying on the couch beside them was also orange-red.

"Hmmm..." After hesitating for a moment, Harry looked at the stairs again and couldn't help but ask, "Is there someone else in the house?"

"Ah?" Ron, who had been discussing a small detail with the twins, looked a little surprised when he heard this.

Harry pointed to the stairs above his head, slightly embarrassed. "I think I just saw someone up there."

"Oh, that's Ginny, my sister." Ron suddenly realized and said without hesitation, "I hope she doesn't scare you later."

Harry: "..."
