A few days later, Garion was relaxing inside God Gym's temporary base when the communication device on the table suddenly lit up.
BZZZT!
Paren's projection appeared almost immediately.
Garion glanced over with a relaxed expression. "What's up?"
Paren got straight to the point. "I want to borrow Rovak for a while."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Borrow him?"
"You know, for the auction," Paren explained. "The three hidden ultimate training slots you gave me. Having Rovak there as living proof of the training will make people bid harder."
Garion immediately understood and nodded. "Oh, that makes sense."
He turned his head toward the training area and shouted, "Rovak!"
A few seconds later, heavy footsteps approached.
Rovak appeared with a wide grin. "What?"
Garion pointed at Paren's projection. "Paren wants you."
Once Rovak heard the explanation, he nodded without hesitation. "Okay. I'll come."
