"Like sleep with me while your other girlfriend monitors everything through a psychic pendant?"
"Exactly like that."
Reyna lifted her head and looked at me. The moonlight caught her eyes and made them glow like emeralds lit from within.
"You're insane."
"Probably."
"I'm insane for getting involved with you."
"Definitely."
She kissed me. Soft at first. Then harder. Her tongue slipped past my lips and tangled with mine. Her hand slid down my chest and kept going.
"We should sleep," I said against her mouth. "Big day tomorrow."
"We should." Her hand found what it was looking for. "But I don't want to sleep."
"Reyna—"
"You came back smelling like dust and sadness. Let me make you smell like me instead."
Her grip tightened. I groaned.
The pendant pulsed cold. Natalia's disapproval transmitted across three hundred miles of ocean and city streets.
