Alicia's Point of View
Alicia and Jheysi find themselves standing in front of a simple wooden cabin. As they walk toward the front door, they can hear the sounds of an argument coming from inside.
– What do you think that means?
– I already told you, that's all they told me.
– I said not to make rash decisions.
Alicia knocks on the door three times.
– The door?
– Hide that.
Footsteps approach from inside, and the door opens.
Prof. Louis – Ohhh… Alicia?! And Jheysi too… What brings you to my humble residence?
– Who?
Alicia – No… it's just that two people saved us from a dungeon and said the one who knew everything—
Prof. Louis – Your daughter is here… wait, someone said I— explain that better.
Alicia – What do you mean? My mother is inside?
Prof. Louis – Yes…
Alicia hears footsteps coming from deeper inside the house, approaching the door. A voice calls out:
– Is that Alicia?
Prof. Louis – In the flesh…

Violet's Point of View
Valeria – Fionna, did you tell her?
Fionna – Tell her what? That I'm one of the girls from the prophecy?
Valeria – No…
Mandy – What are you talking about?
Valeria – The Odyssey of Time…
Fionna – No. They told me not to say anything.
Valeria – There's no time left. The longer you keep this to yourself, the worse it'll get. If you don't tell her, I will.
Fionna looks at Violet, curled up, her eyes dull and lifeless. She stands, looks at Valeria, and says:
Fionna – I wanted to tell her a long time ago… but… it's not easy… damn it!
Knocks are heard at the door.
Rebecca – That must be the other students Mandy mentioned.
Valeria opens the door. Standing there are Albert, Gregor, Khawlah, and Estela.
Valeria – Come in quickly. It's not safe out there.
Gregor – What happened, Aunt Val? Why call us so urgently?
Khawlah – Where's Violet? Is she okay?
Valeria – Don't worry. I took care of her. She's on the couch with Mandy.
Estela hears this and rushes to Violet, sitting on her other side and hugging her tightly.
Albert looks around.
Albert – What happened here?
Mandy – Albert, love… come here. Fionna was just about to explain the size of the mess she made for us and all the students.
The newcomers look at Fionna with a mix of doubt and disgust.
Gregor – What? That makes no sense. Fionna always took care of us.
Albert – Yeah, love… Greg's right. She always did. What are you talking about?
Mandy – Go ahead, Fionna. Tell them. Or Valeria will.
Khawlah – Wait… I know everyone here, but who is this woman?
Valeria – This is Rebecca.
Rebecca – Oh… hi. I'm Alicia's mother. Amanda told me you're friends with my daughter.
Estela looks at Rebecca with shining eyes.
Estela – It's sad… meeting you under such terrible circumstances. I'm Estela, your daughter's best friend.
Rebecca – Oh, really? I'm glad she made friends so quickly.
Gregor shouting – Enough! Stop with this chatter. I'm sorry, Rebecca, ma'am—it's a pleasure to meet you. But it seems Fionna has something she needs to say.
Albert – I have to agree. She needs to explain herself. Or at least defend herself.
Fionna – Fine… whatever. I tried so hard, but it seems I made the wrong choice. I'll explain as quickly as I can.
Long after the war ended, the kingdoms were at peace under a solemn agreement. KeySands was founded… we all studied there.
A century passed since the war. Since Farahlin set foot in KeySands.
Mandy – Yeah, we know that story. Skip to the part where you messed up Violet's mind and manipulated everyone.
Valeria – Amanda, calm down. You had your moment. Now it's her turn.
Mandy – Yes, ma'am.
Fionna – Fair enough… I deserve that.
Continuing…
When Rebecca, Valeria, Rodolfo, Kalai, and I graduated, everyone had a purpose. I… I was alone.
That's when the leaders of the Children of the Eclipse, the Anbuza clan, and the Blood Crows promised me things… and I gave in.
I would become headmistress of the institution. And… many other things.
Albert – And what did they want in return?
Estela – Yeah, that sounds too good to be true.
Valeria – Fionna?
Fionna – They asked me to watch over Violet… and to turn a blind eye to certain students who would disappear…
Estela – That's disgusting.
Fionna – You don't understand… I had no choice.
Mandy – You absolutely had a choice. You just chose wrong. And you used Violet to satisfy your ambitions. She managed the institution better than you did. No—she cared for the students better than you ever did.
Fionna – It's true… but none of that matters now. They broke the agreement. Nothing will stop them.
Rebecca – And my Alicia?
Fionna – I don't know where she is right now.
Rebecca – Fionna, I entrusted you with the most precious thing in my world.
Fionna – I know, Rebecca. I was being monitored during your call. I couldn't refuse you or your daughter entry into the institution… as much as I wanted to. They know Alicia. They would've killed all the students and spared only the ones useful to them. I've already done everything wrong in this world… look at Violet… she's like a daughter to me… and this is how I treated her. I tried so hard to make everything better for us… but I ruined everything.
Mandy – Wow. If that's how you treat your "daughter," I don't even want to know how you treat your enemies.
Rebecca stands and walks to the door.
Rebecca – Fionna… I don't even know what to say. I'll tell everyone what you do. You destroy.
She leaves, slamming the door.
Fionna collapses to her knees, tearing at her clothes, crushed by guilt and the weight of her actions.
Fionna – It was supposed to be different… the ending was supposed to be different… it was supposed to be different… I'm different…
At the same time, Violet begins repeating:
Violet – It was supposed to be different… the ending was supposed to be different… it was supposed to be different… I'm different…
Mandy looks at Violet and sees her eyes completely white.
She turns to Fionna—
Mandy – What did you do to he—
Fionna is speaking in near-perfect sync with Violet.
But her eyes are completely black.
Valeria – Both of you, step away from Violet. It's too late. They've started the ritual with one of them.
Estela – The ritual? What does that mean?
Valeria – It means either Alicia or Amaya has awakened.
Gregor – You're making this even more complicated.
Valeria – Violet, Fionna, Alicia, and Maya are daughters of Annora, Empress of Fusco. She used forbidden spells to live forever, reincarnating through her daughters. Every century, five are born. The Anbuza clan selects them for a ritual—the strongest exchanges bodies with her.
Gregor – So Annora from the legends is alive?
Valeria – No. Farahlin ended her.
Estela – Then how can there be a body exchange?
Valeria – Annora is in the realm of the dead. But the living vessels keep her tethered to this world. She cannot take a body by will alone—but through rituals, she can possess one.
Mandy – So if Fionna and Violet are here… Alicia or Maya is in a ritual right now?
Valeria – All of you, listen. I need you to find Maya and Alicia. I trust you. The institution must be in chaos right now. I'll unlock the relic arsenal so you're prepared.
Return to KeySands and help whoever you can—but your highest priority is finding Maya and Alicia. I'll call Elliot. We'll make a plan. Keep your phones on. Don't split up. I'll contact one of you.
Gregor, you're in command.
Mandy, second in command.
Khawlah, you're primary support—remember the techniques I taught you.
Albert and Estela—you're the best at stealth and dexterity. Today, you're cleared to remove the cyan bracelet. I'm counting on all of you.
Gregor – Then that's it. Let's move.
They head to Valeria's basement. Inside are books, jewels, weapons, and bottles of glowing colors.
Gregor – Only take what's necessary.
He grabs a silver ring with green details and a black ring with blue accents.
Mandy takes red brass knuckles and a necklace with a pink stone.
Khawlah takes a white cloak with pink details, several green and blue jewels, and a small dagger.
Estela and Albert walk to the back and open a door—as if they already knew exactly what they wanted.
Estela pulls out a black cloak with green and gold details. Beside it, an onyx stone ocarina adorned in silver.
Albert takes a matching cloak and a diamond flute adorned with obsidian.
Estela – Just follow the title, right?
Albert – Let's do this for Violet.
He extends his fist. Estela bumps it.
Violet – For Violet.
They prepare and head upstairs.
Valeria – Be fast and precise. You're not going to KeySands.
Gregor – We geared up for KeySands.
Valeria – I spoke to Professor Elliot. He's with Alicia. I need you to go to him.
Gregor – And Maya?
Valeria – That's why I'm sending you. Elliot and a friend are preparing a reversal—to break this cursed spell over all of them. But he'll need reinforcements. And you're the best for that.
Gregor – Rod didn't answer, did he?
Valeria lowers her head, genuine sadness in her eyes.
Valeria – No…
Gregor steps forward and hugs her. The others join.
Gregor – It's okay, Aunt Val. We trust what you taught us. We'll honor your name. Trust us—we'll fix this.
Valeria smiles softly through her tears.
Valeria – I always believed in you.
She raises her hands and chants incomprehensible words. Yellow and blue lightning intertwine around them.
She nods.
Valeria – I'm counting on all of you.
She snaps her fingers.
A blinding white light engulfs the room.
Gregor, Khawlah, Mandy, Estela, and Albert vanish.
