Chapter 2 - LIGHTNING FALL'S

"Viadmeiar, you wretched demon! The ancient gods have let you be for all these years to maintain balance.

Yet you've overstepped. You dare to consume my son, my only son, the offspring of the greatest ancient dragon deity? You will pay with your life!" bellowed the Divine dragon.

Without allowing Viadmeiar to retaliate, the sun above unleashed a concentrated beam of light that struck Viadmeiar.

Boom!

The beam tore through Viadmeiar's wings, incinerating large sections.

ROAR!

In agony, Viadmeiar yelled, "Dragnoid, you filthy worm! I will avenge that!" With that, he hurled a black vortex towards Dragnoid, but a frigid, reflective mirror intercepted it.

BOOM!

The noise resembled an apocalyptic finale, unleashing destruction and chaos like claps of thunder.

The galaxy was ripped apart due to this clash of titans, leaving a tumultuous wake of roaring and blood, shattering the galaxy.

The battle raged on endlessly until Dragnoid being fully aware that he can not win, too another alternative, by self-destructing, annihilating both of them and seemingly ending it all… or so we thought.

Right after their demise, amid the chaos, a black pearl emerged, causing everything to freeze, as if awakening something within it.

"VROOM"

A colossal black hole materialized from the void, engulfing everything, ultimately consuming the entire universe, and like a job well done, it settled back into the black pearl, bringing silence to the empty void.

Then, as if satisfied with its task, it turned to the remnants of the titanic battle: "two drops of blood," one "black" and the other "multicolored," each the size of a chicken egg. By the command of the pearl, both blood drops merged together despite their resistance, culminating in a flash of blinding light and pulsing vibrations.

All that remained was a purple-red drop of blood.

The black pearl then released a continuous flood of blood into it, saturating it with various colors endlessly. After an immeasurable time, the blood flood subsided, leaving a dark red drop of blood that had settled into immiscibility. This drop entered the black pearl, which then vanished.

At the heart of a flourishing galaxy, it reappeared and shot toward a blue planet, shattering its divine consciousness of this planet.

Within this planet, on the Northwest Coast, there lies an island in an area called black water Town. At one of its construction sites, sounds of music, banter, and laughter filled the air.

"Hey, you guys shouldn't talk to Elihu like that; he's a married man now!" chuckled a young man with brown teeth in his mid-twenties.

"Is Elihu married?" queried a youthful, muscular boy with a funny tone, likely an 18-year-old.

"Elihu, you play too much with these guys; that's why these rascals are talking nonsense," remarked Marrow, a slim, tall young man.

Elihu playfully responded, "No pay today; go home after work."

Chaos erupted among the crowd. "Don't you dare, unless you want to spend the night outside tied to a pole stripped!" shouted some of the workers.

"All of you work!" roared a mature woman in her 30s, her caramel skin radiating beauty and her curves deserving respect. "We helpers are taking home "10k" each today," she declared.

"I'd like to see you do that," replied the young man named Derek in a hushed tone, but a sharp look from the caramel-skinned woman named Karol silenced him.

Suddenly, the weather turned chilly, followed by flashes of lightning and thunder.

Everyone present looked up at the stormy sky with expressions of hatred, anger, or slumped shoulders.

"Alright guys, pack it up! It's going to rain. We need to move before it starts; I don't want to get struck by lightning like Ziggy," urged Elihu.

"Yeah, because you already have a bride waiting at home," replied Kaido.

The sound of raindrops on the roof urged them to hasten their pace.

Derek, with slumped shoulders and head held high, felt the rain drench him and exclaimed, "Hah, this smells strange."

As he raised his hand to wipe the raindrops from his face, a chill gripped his heart as he saw his hand covered in blood. Looking up, he realized it was raining blood.

"Blood," was my last thought before a black pearl intertwined with the lightning and struck me.

"CRACKER!" BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

They say lightning never strikes the same place twice, but that wasn't the case for me. It struck twelve times, and when the crowd gathered at the lightning site, only a dark, deep hole two meters in diameter remained, which later became known as the "Lightning Fall Trench."

As for Derek, his journey was just beginning.
