After four of them finished shopping and returned, they were all covered in sweat and feeling sticky and uncomfortable. So, as soon as they got back, everyone took turns to shower.
No one knew why, but when it was Serena Sutton's turn to shower, there was suddenly no hot water. The young lady was still covered with shower gel and shampoo, all sudsy, and she immediately panicked.
Serena Sutton shouted out, "Brandy Quinn, why is there suddenly no hot water? What's going on? Can you check for me if there's no money left on my water card."
At Northwood University, each dorm has hot water, but to use it, you need to swipe your card, and it's charged based on water usage.
Brandy Quinn checked the card reader; it was still lit up and there was balance left: "No problem there. I'll ask the dorm auntie about it. Hang in there a bit."
