At least the Amber Men we saw had already stopped breathing. If we were to take them out of the amber, we don't know if they could come back to life.
After walking for another five minutes, we reached the end of the corridor, and another door blocked our path. This one also couldn't be pushed open, so Qinghan took action and sliced the door lock open with his treasure sword.
Interestingly, the lock on this door was secured from the inside.
This meant that the two armored individuals trapped themselves in the corridor, locking both ends to prevent anyone from inside the 'morgue' from getting out, or anyone from outside from getting in.
They might have actually died trapped in the corridor, but while bodies decay and swords rust, the door lock was well-preserved, seemingly carved from some extremely hard stone.
The stone door swung open, and outside was a 'road' with two parallel tracks laid down.
