She dashed into her room taking out her phone, her brows furrowed. The message says "MINE"
What does he mean by that?
Remembering, Adrian never sent Elena White a message but what was this?
The Adrian here is slightly different from the one in the novel...
"Surprised?" Her phone almost slipped out of her hand. She looked up to see a smiling Adrian looking down at her, he was now dressed. Why was he this tall? And when did he enter her room? She was too engrossed thinking about the message he sent that she didn't even hear him enter.
"W-why are you here?" This time she was the one asking
Adrian shrugged "This is my house, I can go wherever I want" he smirked
Elena wished she could smash his face right now. His house? Really? But he would always question her if she entered his room "Your house...fine...but it's mine own house too"
'She has surely changed' Adrian couldn't just stop thinking about her suddenly changed personality
"I want to rest" she said gesturing for him to go out of her room

"Any problems, Sean?"
"I need your signature on some documents, sir" Sean placed a file on Adrian's desk
"I've sorted everything by priority" He said opening the file "Urgent contract first then the usual fillings. Just your signature here and here"
He uncapped his pen, scanned the first page and with a quick stroke, he signed "Next"
Sean flipped the pages to the next one "Well, this is- " The CEO signed without waiting for his assistant to say what it was
"Any thing else?"
"The goods overseas...seems like it was rejected"
Adrian leaned back into his chair "Leave them, I would handle that later myself" He said, his gaze darkening
Gathering the file documents, Sean walked out leaving only the faint scent of ink...

"I'm glad you made it today, Elena"
Elena smiled at the older lady "What are we doing today?"
"Oh that! We are going shopping" Evelyn stood up grabbing her bag from the armrest of the couch
"Shopping?" It Surprised Elena
The older lady looked back at her "Yes shopping, you seem startled"
"...uhm..Just that, why would we go shopping?"
"Can't i do that with my daughter-in-law?" Evelyn raised her brows asking "And besides we need new dresses for this weekend occasion"
Huh? Occasion? What was happening this weekend ?
"Oh!, I'm sorry I didn't tell you yet, we are having the family introduction this weekend, please do well to inform your family and I'm sorry I'm giving short notice"
Elena stared at her..short notice? That wasn't a big deal...giving how her mother would jump up getting ready even if she told her a day before
The two ladies made their way into Evelyn's car. It was a white Mercedes...nice! The driver opened the door for them and they both got themselves into the back seat of the car, this reminded Elena of her own driver, she still haven't remembered his name...what was it? James? Steven? Mark? Just what was it, she seemed bothered
"Are you okay?" Elena turned her head to the older lady, "Ah! yes I'm fine!"
"Are you sure, cos you seemed disturbed, do you perhaps don't like sitting here with me?"
What? What sort of thinking was that?
