At the entrance point, Ivan began to wonder how he was going to sneak back in with Dallas. He had already tried waking him up, but Dallas hadn't even flinched.
It was already seven in the morning, and most people in the academy were probably awake by now, so he couldn't risk being seen.
He considered just walking in through the gate, but not with a drunk Dallas, he would only get him into trouble.
So he decided to wait until eight when everyone would have left for lectures. He sat quietly beside Dallas, who was leaning against the wall, but every time Dallas shifted, he slid toward Ivan, his head eventually coming to rest on his shoulder.
Ivan adjusted him several times, but it kept happening, and he couldn't help but wonder why Dallas never slid the other way. Eventually, he grew tired of moving him and simply let him rest there.
