The herald vibrated sending a message. Ved and Naledi knew it must've survived since its crickets survived.
But their mission wasn't to kill this thing but retrieving the singularity. As soon as it was taken the war stopped.
They all turned towards Ved and Naledi, Naledi knew things were bad. She grabbed the body and jumped on Ved's body.
They teleported but the space around them fractured and the spatial rift devoured them. The entire battlefield stood in silence.
Suddenly the leading sovereign herald busted out laughing. " To think such promising kids would die just like that.
You lot are quite unlucky, don't worry though, I'll make sure to find their bodies in the void and devour them for you."
He laughed at the sovereign fighting but this sovereign didn't feel much, those three were not even from his universe.
He felt it was a pity considering two of them were divinities with a promising future plus they lost the singularities as well.
