One day and one night.

Law watched from the shadows for one day and one night. The two Four Emperors battled for another day and night. While enjoying the spectacle, Law could finally fully confirm Kaido's abilities. His invincible life recovery came from his innate abilities, not from a Devil Fruit.

"Although the stronger the physique, the faster the recovery? There must be a limit, right?" Law frowned in deep thought. With continuous extreme training, Law's physical strength had greatly increased over six years, and he naturally understood the changes that come with immense power and physique. Injuries that would have been fatal six years ago might not be fatal now. He might be able to recover relying on a powerful body.

"From Kaido of the Beasts' pure power and aura, it's clear his physique has reached an astonishing level, at least stronger than any known Devil Fruit user. Could it be that reaching a physical level like Kaido allows for such monstrous recovery?" The logic seemed sound. But Law believed it wasn't right.

Although he didn't know how strong Garp or Shanks were, neither was a Devil Fruit user. Their combat power came from their own strength, so their physiques certainly wouldn't be weak. But they weren't known as immortal monsters.

"A monstrous physique is definitely a crucial element for such life recovery, but there must be other elements?" Law looked at Kaido of the Beasts. Every movement of his exuded a ferocious, beast-like aura. His horns, in particular, made him even more terrifying, like a demon god from hell.

"Is his body also different from ordinary humans?" Blackbeard's abnormal body structure allowed him to break the sea's limits and possess two or more Devil Fruit abilities. Could Kaido's body structure also be different from ordinary humans, allowing him to ultimately possess immortal-like life recovery? It was merely a conjecture. Law couldn't be certain.

"Then I'll find out once I get Kaido's genetic cells," Law's hunter-like gaze fell upon Kaido. The immortal life recovery was simply too appealing.

"How do I get it?"

Law coldly watched the two fighting. Kaido was not Blackbeard. Blackbeard wasn't strong yet, so it was naturally easy to get his genetic cells. But Kaido was currently at the pinnacle. Even though Law now possessed strength comparable to a regular Warlord of the Sea, against a monster like a Four Emperor, the difference in strength was still immense.

But this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. "Continue to wait. They must be nearing exhaustion, right?" Law slowly drew his blade. Four days and four nights of intense battle, especially a battle between two of the same caliber, meant Whitebeard and Kaido were both reaching their limits. Now they were competing on willpower.

"Again!" The two crazed individuals clashed violently once more. In the explosion, both stumbled backward simultaneously. Suddenly, a figure appeared behind Whitebeard.

"Heh heh, Whitebeard, you truly are in a sorry state." Countless grains of sand rapidly condensed into a figure behind Whitebeard. Crocodile? His golden hook slashed towards Whitebeard's head.

"Crocodile, you brat? Couldn't hold back?" Whitebeard's tiger-like eyes glared, and he delivered a backward punch. The air shattered and spread behind him, the terrifying shockwave sending everything behind him flying. Crocodile shattered amidst the cracks, countless grains of sand scattering. In his retreat, the sand rapidly reformed into a person. With a swipe of his eagle-claw-like right hand, four enormous sand blades tore through the earth. All boulders in their path were cleaved open as they shot towards Whitebeard.

"Gurararara, Crocodile, you brat, you're still too weak." Whitebeard spun his Naginata. The blade tip, covered by a force field, swept across, and the terrifying shockwave pulverized the four massive Desert Swords.

"Sirocco."

Landing several hundred meters away, Crocodile braced himself with his right hand on the ground. The already broken earth rapidly turned into desert.

"Warlord of the Sea Crocodile? What, do you have a grudge against Whitebeard?" Kaido of the Beasts watched this scene with interest.

"I didn't expect Crocodile to show up?" Law frowned slightly. He knew Crocodile had a grudge against Whitebeard; it was explained in the original story. But he hadn't expected him to come here.

"Whitebeard and Kaido of the Beasts have been battling for four days and four nights; news of it must have spread across the sea long ago. Four days and four nights also gives any powerful individual enough time to arrive here. Is Crocodile here to seize the opportunity to kill Whitebeard?" Law rubbed his temples, vexed.

Having one more person disrupt things seemed better. But Crocodile was tying up Whitebeard. Kaido of the Beasts, in turn, became an observer.

"They were almost at their limit. If this delays things, who knows how much power Kaido of the Beasts will recover, or what new unforeseen events might occur." Law's eyes narrowed. Was it time to act?

"Grand Croc Storm."

A desert a thousand meters wide appeared, creating a massive sandstorm that stirred up yellow sand everywhere. As it spread towards Whitebeard, it continuously grew larger, becoming increasingly terrifying.

"Crocodile, you brat, are these all your tricks?" Where the force field-covered fist struck, the air shattered, pulverizing everything. Sandstorm or sand blades, all were crushed: "Did you think I'd be out of energy after battling for four days and four nights?"

Boom.

Whitebeard slammed down on Crocodile. The latter's face changed in alarm, cursing inwardly. How is Whitebeard still so fast and strong?

"Go train for a few more years, then come back and find me." The force field-covered fist slammed onto Crocodile. Cracks in the air shattered Crocodile's body. Spitting blood, he turned into a swirling cloud of yellow sand.

"Do you think just because you became a Warlord of the Sea, you're superior to everyone? Any cat or dog thinks they can reap the benefits of others' struggles. Who do you think we are? We are Four Emperors!" Kaido of the Beasts mocked Crocodile.

Crocodile's face turned cold, a hint of malice in his expression, but his skill was inferior. He coldly watched Kaido and Whitebeard. He was strong, but those two were stronger.

"Hmph, Whitebeard, just you wait. One day, I will take your life." Crocodile left a harsh threat, knowing there was no opportunity today, and turned to leave.

"Room."

Kaido of the Beasts mocked him. In his eyes, only beings of equal rank mattered; he held no regard for the Warlords of the Sea. "To think someone would actually be so naive as to believe this is a great opportunity, thinking they can destroy two Four Emperors. Those who hold such thoughts are the most foolish in the entire sea... You are?"

Before his words could finish, a figure suddenly appeared out of nowhere in front of Kaido.

"Room, Scalpel!"

Law, clad in a black robe and mask! The blade, glinting with a strange light, stabbed towards Kaido's heart.

"Huh?" Kaido of the Beasts didn't react? Or disdained to dodge or defend? "You rat, I'll let you slash me. Can you even pierce my skin?"

The blade did not pierce Kaido's chest; it didn't even touch his skin. But a heart erupted from behind Kaido.

"Whoosh!" The figure that suddenly appeared, vanished just as abruptly.
