Spandam uttered hypocritical and nauseating words.

It could be summarized in one sentence: "Let CP9 test your strength. If it's not enough, get lost immediately."

"Is that so?"

Law's lips curved into a cold sneer. So they found me an eyesore and planned to use this method to make me retreat in the face of difficulty, or even forcibly escort me back to Marine Headquarters.

"Alright." If he were to control Enies Lobby, playing schemes and intrigues, with all the politicians of the entire Earth providing strategies, Law would naturally fear no schemer. But using schemes to control Enies Lobby was too slow.

Besides schemes and overt strategies, controlling Enies Lobby with strength seemed simpler, more direct, and faster.

"CP9 all learn assassination techniques, all focused on one-hit kills. It's not as gentle as a rookie assessment, so be careful during the battle, as injuries can easily occur." Spandam said kindly, also instructing the CP9 members, "Remember, hold back."

"Understood."

However, the CP9 members' eyes all seemed rather malicious, either playful or cruel.

"Are you planning to forcibly send me back to Marine Headquarters?" Law shrugged. "Just as well, I'll test out six years of training. Don't lose too quickly, or it'll be a letdown."

"Jabra, you go." Spandam directly pointed out Jabra, the most vicious and insidious member of CP9, to fight. He even feigned kindness towards Law, saying, "Jabra is the weakest member of CP9."

"Right, I'm the weakest, rookie. Don't worry, I'll go easy on you." Jabra looked at Law cruelly.

In his eyes, Law was just someone he could easily crush.

"Too troublesome. Come at me all at once." Law looked down at all the CP9 members. Even six years later, he wouldn't put Jabra in his eyes, let alone him now.

Six years later, Lucci would be a formidable opponent, but now, six years before the original story, Law wasn't too interested in Lucci alone. All of them together would barely qualify for Law to draw his sword.

"All at once?"

The CP9 members all glared furiously at Law. This was outright contempt! To be disrespected by a rookie! Didn't he know that CP9 members all crawled out of piles of corpses? What right did a rookie have to be so arrogant?

"Little brother, don't mistake us for those rookies, or you'll regret it." Kalifa kindly reminded him.

Jabra roared in anger. He was utterly disrespected! He decided he would definitely make the rookie experience what pain truly was. "Rookie, it seems coming in first at the rookie camp made you too arrogant, thinking you're peerless. Three seconds are all I need to deal with you."

"Soru..."

Jabra disappeared, but then reappeared, back in his original spot.

The instantaneous acceleration of Soru didn't allow him to change his position, because his vanished body was seized by a hand that suddenly appeared, grasping his shoulder. He couldn't move.

"Is that enough now?"

Law was behind Jabra, his sword blade resting on Jabra's neck. Jabra could feel the coldness of the blade. His face changed dramatically.

"So fast, was that Soru? Does he also know the Marine Six Powers?" Lucci's eyes narrowed slightly. His expressionless face finally showed a change. "Very strong. Although Jabra was unprepared, being able to instantly suppress Jabra proves that this rookie's strength is terrifying."

"What's going on? Jabra, what are you doing? How did you suddenly get caught?"

"Useless." The CP9 members didn't believe a rookie could instantly suppress Jabra. It must have been because the idiot Jabra was careless and got ambushed successfully.

"If you hesitate any longer, he'll die." The sword blade moved slightly.

"Tekkai." Jabra used his most skilled Marine Six Powers technique. His entire body turned to iron, capable of defending against ordinary sword attacks.

The sword blade moved slightly, and some blood still flowed from Jabra's neck.

So what if his body is like iron? Law could cut through steel four years ago. Could Tekkai's defense compare to Armament Haki's hardening?

Jabra stared at Law in horror.

The other CP9 members also changed their expressions in shock.

"Act." Lucci could tell that this rookie truly dared to kill. He instantly moved, appearing in a humanoid cheetah form, using Soru to appear behind Law.

"Shigan!"

His fingertip, like a gun, pierced towards Law's back. It was even more penetrating than a bullet.

"ROOM."

Space instantly materialized, enveloping a thousand-meter radius around them. Even the Tower of Justice was included.

Law vanished, disappearing faster than Soru.

"Since the rookie demanded it, then let's fulfill his wish. Otherwise, we CP9 would appear useless." The young Kaku also attacked. He instantly leaped up, executing Geppo, rapidly moonwalking in the air towards Law.

In mid-air, his right leg powerfully chopped downwards, and a blue air slash tore through the sky.

"No need to dodge." Within the space, Law could easily dodge, but since he was testing his own strength, dodging wouldn't be effective.

"Clang, clang!"

Law swept his sword blade, tearing through the blue air slash.

"Whoosh!"

In that instant, Lucci appeared behind Law. In front, Jabra, in his werewolf form, his body still using Tekkai, charged forward with furious anger, using his entire body as an attack.

The sword blade plunged straight!

The Armament Haki-hardened blade, with a single thrust, made the incredibly fast Jabra frantically stop. His Tekkai form no longer dared to contend with this ordinary sword.

"Shigan!"

Behind him, Lucci's hands swiftly attacked. Dozens of afterimages, as if simultaneously piercing all over Law's body, but missing some fatal points. After all, he was a rookie valued by the Admiral. Killing him directly would not be well received.

Just give him a lifelong painful experience.

"Clang, clang, clang."

Sparks flew. In an instant, dozens of Shigan all struck Law's body.

"A bit effective, huh?" Law looked back at the horrified Lucci. Lucci's two index fingers were swollen, even bent.

"Armament Haki hardening? Can rookies also cultivate Armament Haki? And reach such a high level?" Lucci couldn't help but curse. Don't the Marines have a rule that only Vice Admirals must possess Haki?

It wasn't that only by becoming a Vice Admiral one was qualified to learn Haki. Rather, learning Haki required a very high level of physical strength as a foundation. Therefore, possessing Haki could prove that one's strength and physique had reached a certain level.
