Chapter 202 - Cap.189 - Elesis Siegfried

What do you do when your boss gives you a planet core? Ringo had no idea and didn't want to think about it, he had no use for it now, but what about in the future?

Bradd said it was enough to use as a strong Grade S weapon, but only Austin could forge something like that. Ringo was tempted to ask Austin for help with this, but even him, being a generalist mage, possessed an average alchemy skill among Grade S mages.

Ringo didn't think much about it from that angle, but he had another idea, could this thing be used as energy?

Ringo still used nuclear energy in his heart as a backup power source, but what about the future? Could he use this Planetary Cornerstone as a power source? He didn't know, but it was a possibility, in any case, for now, the Planetary Cornerstone was useless.

Ringo also imagined that this type of item would be perfect for forging a weapon for Ames, he wondered why she never asked a Mage for help in creating something for her.

Perhaps she wasn't interested in weapons, perhaps out of pride, perhaps out of laziness, or perhaps she simply forgot about it.

Anything was possible when it came to the randomness of Ames, the woman was unpredictable like that.

In any case, Ringo was grateful, and Ames seemed pleased after giving him the gift. He couldn't quite understand the woman's mindset, who is happy to give expensive things?

Bradd asked for two weeks to finish what they had requested, Ringo didn't mind, but Hila and Eva didn't want to leave, directly asking to stay.

What actually happened was that Eva refused to leave, and Hila turned her face away when asked if she wanted to come back, clearly neither agreeing nor denying.

In Hila's language, this superficially meant. "I don't care", but the reality was that it meant, "I want to stay, but I'm too proud to say anything."

Ringo didn't mind and let Hila follow Ames around, while Aesop rented a Mage's room to make wine with the materials he had obtained on that planet.

His main body took Eva to train, he was ready to help her advance to Grade B before retrieving Bradd's armor.

Black Spider, on the other hand, was focused elsewhere, on acquiring materials to create a new Lich Phylactery.

Ringo had circled this planet the last time, yet only found one, it would be very difficult to continue searching here, even if there were any, it would be difficult to take such a precious item from the hands of a Mage.

So Ringo turned to Juberly Hub, a large commercial area, though it lacked the variety of Mages it had, if he looked hard enough, he might find something.

Black Spider was waiting for Godora's Purple Crystal Pendant, so he didn't have much to do in the last few days.

So as soon as the clone received the mission, he readily agreed, beginning to scour the markets of Juberly Hub.

-Lich's phylactery? Are you stupid? If I had one, I would have sold it already, those things cost a fortune, I wish I could get my hands on one.

-Of course I do! My mother is also a Gorilla from At-katch and my father is the king of Azed-lub, hahaha! -

-I don't have one, but I heard Old Marlon has one... -

Half an hour later, Black Spider emerged from a destroyed bandit base. There was no Lich Phylactery, it was just some idiot who thought Ringo, who wanted to buy a Lich Phylactery, was a fat sheep, but he didn't know where the courage of a Grade C gang trying to attack him came from. Maybe it was because he wasn't walking around with his aura released, looking like a simple civilian.

Black Spider didn't give up immediately, but no matter where he went, he was either labeled stupid, mocked, or had people try to rob him, one unfortunate soul even tried to sell him a stone with some remaining spiritual power as if it were a Lich's Phylactery.

Black Spider sighed heavily, this was proving more difficult than expected. He walked through the legal zone and the lawless zone, but still nothing.

In truth, he could have simply seen the future for this, but to be more direct, Black Spider was bored, so going out on this mission was more like a break from the monotony.

Ringo was starting to get a headache because of this, but then he thought of something: Godora is a magical civilization, right? They'd have a spare Lich Phylactery, wouldn't they? Even just a common Grade D lich would be great.

So, he made Black Spider stop searching and continue waiting for Godora's delivery, he hoped to be able to negotiate with whoever came to deliver the Purple Crystal Pendant.

However, shortly after Black Spider returned to the parked Trihexa, he encountered a stranger on his ship.

Black Spider winked as Rick scratched his head awkwardly.

-So, Captain, I kind of accepted a mission, hehe.- Rick looked away, sweating profusely.

Black Spider just stared at him for a long time with a vacant look, he didn't even ask why.

Looking at the beautiful redhead wearing what appeared to be white medieval leather armor with red details that hugged her in all the right places, Black Spider didn't even need to ask why Rick had agreed to anything this woman wanted to do to him.

Black Spider sighed, scratching the bridge of his nose, feeling that he should have left Rick and his "space worm" in space instead of rescuing him. His gaze turned to the tiger-man beside him and he asked. -Didn't I tell you to keep an eye on this idiot?

Trax let out a growl that Black Spider had learned to distinguish among the dozens of other nonverbal vocalizations of the tiger man, this one meant something along the lines of "I may be wrong, but I'm not going to apologize".

The Slugcat, bouncing gently on the table, spoke in his mind. - 'Rick was flirting with women at the bar while Trax was betting on a dog fight.'

Slugcat didn't speak directly to Black Spider, so everyone heard. Trax stared at the ceiling, finding it very interesting, while Rick did the opposite, staring at the floor.

Black Spider thought Trax had been corrupted by Rick and Wilsander. Where was that honorable man he had known before? Now he goes around drinking and betting on dog fights?

Not far away, Vanessa let out a soft snort and shook her head, thinking those two were very stupid, while the raven-man beside her, now with much softer eyes thanks to Ringo's help, let out a slight snort, suppressing a laugh.

The woman finally seemed to tire of being ignored and stepped forward.

-My name is Elesis Siegfried.- She said, her voice possessing a natural air of authority. Her hair was pulled back in a high ponytail, and a bastard sword hung from her waist. She resembled a medieval version of a knight, the kind that shouldn't have appeared in a book about galactic civilizations.
