As Gianna finished speaking, there was a loud crash on the other end of the phone! A bang, as if a cup had fallen from Ibrahim's hand and shattered on the ground!
"Grandpa, what's happening over there?" Gianna became worried.
There was a moment of silence on the other end, as if something was being cleaned up, and then Ibrahim spoke with a trembling voice, "Granddaughter, how did Mr. Morgan speak to you?"
"He said he has always treated me like a little sister, and if anyone wants to harm me, he will do everything in his power to protect me." Gianna thought for a moment and repeated what Grant had said to her in the restaurant.
Ibrahim was stunned, and then burst out laughing.
He had been excited when he heard that Grant had called Gianna his little sister, and had even dropped his teacup in excitement. Now that Gianna had confirmed it, he couldn't contain his excitement and burst out laughing.
