When Master Franklin saw Grant standing in the crowd, surrounded by a large group of onlookers, he felt a sudden pang in his heart. He knew that someone must have offended Mr. Morgan again. He quickly walked up to Grant and respectfully bowed, saying, "Mr. Morgan, I apologize for being late..."
The sight of the Spencer award also made him tremble. "Master, I'm sorry I'm late," he said.
Everyone was stunned by the sight of the two men bowing to Grant. All the voices in the bar suddenly stopped. Countless eyes were fixed on Spencer and Master Franklin, watching them bow to Grant.
Then they spoke, and every voice was clear and distinct.
Few people present had seen Master Franklin before, but they had all heard of his and Spencer's reputation, and so they were shocked to see Master Franklin apologizing to Grant. Some even forgot to breathe.
