Elisa sat watching in silent fury as Jake and Bella were having the time of their lives. She was watching the live action from her phone, since she wasn't only given access to hearing their voices but also seeing every corner of the house.
The house. The house that she paid for. The house that was meant to be a home for the three of them.
"Li, your food is ready. Should I bring it upstairs?" Mira asked, seeing how she was fixed on her phone and she didn't seem happy.
"I'm not hungry," Elisa replied.
"You have to eat though. We have an appointment with your therapist. You've been slipping your sessions. Don't you want to get better quickly?" Mira asked. Elisa finally looked up from the phone.
"moee than ever " she whispered, although it was audible enough for Mira to hear.
"Then you have to take care of yourself. I'll bring your food upstairs"
"Get my iPad, thanks"
