"So it's just this guy," Richard muttered.
The Star Dragon Formation might be nearly as large as the city itself, but to Richard, it posed no threat whatsoever.
"Let's head out," the Fire Spirit Queen said.
She couldn't leave until Richard did.
Fortunately, Richard nodded this time.
He lowered her from his lap before standing up.
The Fire Spirit Queen felt warm and strangely more at ease with their relationship after that brief embrace.
She was no longer quite as embarrassed.
The two of them left the palace, immediately drawing the gazes of the palace elders, who had been waiting since last night and were obviously wondering what the two of them had been doing alone inside.
Now that they were coming out together, the speculation only grew wilder, although some people could still convince themselves that they had merely been discussing magic, something that was quite common.
